The free guided tour in English was excellent. The guide was very knowledgeable. The tour brought you to the cellar, where you can enter only if you’re on guided tour. The whole tour was fascinating and the guide gave us a great overview of some of Prague's history. Come early to get 50% off entrance fee. Guided tour is free. You have to pay small sum of money to take lift to the clock tower, but the view from the top is amazing. Overall worth the money.

Starý královský palác
Three Royal residence palace originally built in 10th century, expanded to todays dimensions in 14th century by emperor Charles IV. It was used also as the place for coronations of the kings. The ticket is the same one you can enter cathedral of the st Vitus. 250 CZK or ~10EUR.

Starý královský palác
Old Royal Palace is in Prague Castle which is included in the base or advanced ticket. Not a lot to see as it is mostly empty but there are a few items to see upstairs.

Bazilika svatého Jiří
cute but very little, it's only worth it because it's already included on the ticket, otherwise it wouldn't be a place where I've would've spent my money!

The Prague Astronomical Clock is an extraordinary marvel that effortlessly blends history, art, and science. Its intricate design and impressive functionality make it a must-see attraction in Prague. The clock's mechanism, dating back to the 15th century, still operates flawlessly, enchanting visitors with its accurate timekeeping, intricate astronomical displays, and the mesmerizing procession of the Twelve Apostles. Witnessing this historical timepiece in action is truly an awe-inspiring experience. However, due to its immense popularity, the clock area can get quite crowded, so it's best to plan your visit accordingly. Don't miss the chance to marvel at the Prague Astronomical Clock; it's a true gem that embodies the genius of human craftsmanship.

Starý královský palác
Very impressive compound and even if you have just a few hours in Prague, this is where you should spend them. You can get tickets that grant you access to the old castle, the cathedral, the basilica and the Golden Lane, which are all next to each other. As you can imagine, the place can get super crowded with tourists, so if you'd like to avoid that, make sure you set your alarm early enough to beat the hoards of tourists who will be heading there.Walking up the hill yup the compound, there is a very nice little Café on the left with amazing views.

Starý královský palác
A gothic Palace, with a very beautiful high ballroom. However In the end there is nothing else than this one room to see, so I felt a bit disappointed.

Starý královský palác
The palace interiors are not the grandest and seem quite bare in some rooms. There’s also very sparse informational or directional signs inside. Overall, the palace are not very big but the real highlight I suppose is the reproduction of Czech Crown Jewels in the ornate Diet Room. Entry is included in the basic circuit ticket for Prague Castle, so no harm swinging by for a quick look as it’s located across St Vitus Cathedral
