I wanted to invest my money with CSOB however they told me that they cannot open any product, even a standard account if you don’t have a permanent residence. I recommend you to visit their competitors. Good luck to CSOB with this discriminative approach.

Rude, borderline racist, and not too helpful person at the front desk aside... this CSOB branch serves their customers at the speed of Flash! Not the DC Comics Flash, mind you, the Zootopia DMV Flash the sloth... If you don't have at least 30 minutes to wait in the queue, don't even bother. Walk a few blocks to Arbesovo for much better treatment. While waiting for my turn (45 minutes), I got to personally witness so much nonsense. Some highlights: The clerks took long breaks after 'serving' every client, either by VISIBLY browsing their socials and taking selfies for ages, or taking walks around the bank, whatever the reason for that was. Then when one gentleman approached to ask why he's been waiting for 30 minutes, the lady got angry at him and told him to go elsewhere. The last straw was a Ukrainian lady who wanted to withdraw money and close her account, she was speaking Czech - direct quote of the front desk Champion of the Light: 'NEUMIM UKRAJINSKY, VYNDEJTE MOBIL A ZAPISTE SI CISLO. ZAVOLEJTE TAM!' (tl. I don't speak Ukranian, take out your phone and write down this number to call.) Hell, the most useful things at this place are the ATMs, when they work that is.

I contacted my premium banker more than a month ago with the request to close my accounts. Since then, I have been ignored, I often received incomplete or inconsistent information, sent around between different people. I have spent more than 15 hours trying to figure out what I need to do in order to close this account. I have traveled to the Czech embassy in Berlin to validate a document which later was found to be invalid. I have made over 20 phone calls. Still, there is no end in sight.This is kafkaesque.In comparison, I was able to close my Airbank account with a couple of clicks online in less than 5 minutes.If you want to avoid such suffering and keep your sanity, please stay away from CSOB as far as you can. To me, this feels like the worst customer service in the history of humankind.

The ATM from inside the bank was not working properly ( I tried to withdraw 1000CZK, I didn't receive the cash but I got an sms confirmation that the amount was debited from my account) so I called the Help Line and I also told this problem to several bank employees, asking them to mark the ATM as Not functional" and avoid tricking other customers. The lady from the info desk very impolitely turned the back on me because she was not speaking English. I insisted that the ATM should be marked as "Not functional" but the answer I got was: "This ATM works for some people and doesn't work for others. We've got just 3 reclamations today". Apparently this is not enough. While I've waited 2 hours for my turn in the line (because it was full of customers inside the bank but only one desk open for non-cash transactions)

One of the worsts service experience ever. Waste an incredible amount of time trying to solve any issues.

I used the cash machine to withdraw k3000 and was given a k1000 and k2000 note. Bank refused to change k2000 note into smaller denominations and staff member was not at all helpful.

I had a very pleasant experience opening my account here. I was 15 minutes earlier but they could help me immediately. The bankers explained everything in detail to me and opened my account without issue and with nice conversation too. One hour later I was outside again. Thank you.

Terrible opening hours, terrible service, long queues all the time.
