Restaurant - Café Svatého Václava
We went here for dinner around 2200, and we sat inside. The service was great. Our server brought us 2 beers as soon as we walked in. I asked for his suggestions as well as some time to examine the menu. We ordered chicken soup, goulash, and roast duck. All items were delicious. The goulash had kind of a spice to it, lovely. Our server brought us 2 shots of complementary liquor after our meals. I have nothing negative to say about my experience. I believe the later you go out for dinner in Prague, the better the experience. Enjoy!!

The service is very fast. They actually took 5 min to bring my gulash. Taste was ok but I count count with one hand the pieces of meat. Not enough for an adult. For me was enough because I ordered some fries as well. I get disappointed every time that a restaurant brings me a small bottle of soft drink… that was all age and they become very pricey because you need to drink few of them (guess that’s their trick). 7€ for a jar of Water with some orange and lemon slices it is too price for me. Nice presentation for the gulash though

2nd time eating here, mainly for the location as we had walked around the city & needed something close to our hotel.Good traditional food to fill most appetites! Especially if you choose the Pork Knee!

The nice restaurant on Wenceslas square with rock music. Friendly and funny staff, which speaks English, Russian as well. The beer is good but not the best. We had good dish for 6 people with different kind of meat. We asked waitress to give us a table for 6 people inside the restaurant cause near the entrance was very windy and cold that day and she didn’t allow us. But there were many empty places and tables inside the restaurant. The interior in the middle age style.

My experience was nice, good food (a bit to much for me), nice staff and service.. just a bit pricey but I knew and assumed that…P.S. the duck is amazing

Restaurant - Café Svatého Václava
Very professional and polite staff, exterior is very “Prague”-ish, wooden stools, hanging torches instead of hanging lights, a lot of Prague related photos on the wall… Prices were in the range of upper average given the location. I am guessing close proximity to National museum (which is a must-see place!) and being on the very busy boulevard could increase the prices. Three main courses, 5 drinks were ate around 2500 CZK (or 100 EUR).

Amazing staff, always taking care of you and making sure you have enough beer. The atmosphere is excellent and food is delicious. A bit on the more expensive side, but definitely worth it.
