We ordered ribs, pork knuckle, and schnitzel. They were all good and with large quantities. Relatively inexpensive compared to nearby places.I would give it a five star.However, there’s literally no service other than bringing in the dishes. The waiter forcefully added 10% service charges. He insisted on this with a demanding attitude.This is very bad for international visitors.I think Prague needs to change its attitude towards tourists. If you asked for tips, you should do your service for it. The three stars is for this.

Pivnice „U zlatého slona“
Went there after watching honest guys of Prague video. Though of ordering beer and trying out the Goulash. But got wet in the rain and tried chicken soup(2 euro) instrad of beer. Both soup and Goulash were amazing.

Plenty of tables, good services. Dark beer was very good. Near the farmers market. Bathrooms are on the lower level down a flight of stairs.

This was the first place I went to when I came to Prague and also the last place I went, for a good reason. Very local type of place but still in the middle of the touristy area. Really REALLY good food, the goulash was really tasty and what a huge portion! The beer sausage was also tasty and spicy, perfect with some good local beers. Wish I tried more things here it was the best food in the 4 days I was there.

Um achado literalmente dourado! A comida é excelente, cardápio variado e com várias opções típicas da culinária da República Checa. O melhor? Sem dúvidas o preço! Para quem quer fugir dos lugares turísticos lotados e inflacionados, esse restaurante é uma excelente opção. O local tem menu em inglês, funcionários que falam inglês e cerveja bem gelada! Recomendo muito!

Sometimes they have a veggie lunch menu, but mostly they're meat based, typical Czech cuisine. The food is good and the prices reasonable even for locals, especially considering the location.

Best Christmas svarak/mulled wine close to Old Town Square...not the sweetened sugary overpriced stuff sold everywhere else. Quick service, good food served as well. Stroll around the markets and enjoy a couple mugs of warm wine...it'll leaving for sure, feelin' fine!

Apparently this place is either not well known or not touristy enough to be swarmed which is awesome and one of the reasons we came here twice during our stay in Prague. Food was delicious, beer is awesome, you can sit inside or outside and the prices are quite fair. The only issue one might have is staff - they range from super friendly to rude, and it seems to depend on their individual levels of hatred towards tourists. Throw in a couple of czech words here and there and you shouldn't have any problems.
