I loved this place - spacious rooms, very interesting design, loads of character. The history of the building is incredible, especially for Czech visitors. Fun stuff, on my list to visit again.

I come here quite often and I am never disappointed. Food is not special, but it is excellent within this price category. Apart from the daily menu, a large selection of pizzas.Interesting interiors, friendly service and a location right in the middle of two main squares makes this restaurant a good choice.Well... the service is sometimes slow, but lately it has improved.

Visited this place about two weeks ago. Based on the reviews we expected nice cozy restaurant with tasty food. At the moment we entered we started to regret that we did not chose nearby Bison ranch instead.There were just few people inside, waitress was sitting with other guests, so we waited for her as she was finishing the bier.She brought us the card which was dirty but it is kinda normal in the villages here. I noticed that floor and table cloth were dirty as well so we ordered something with low risk of diarrhoea next day - fried cheese with french fries.We waited almost an hour for our dishes (there were two other people waiting for their dinner) and then voila - fried cheese with french fries on the dirtiest plate I have ever seen!!!Next days we were eating at restaurants which were recommended to us by local people and never had similar experience.Thank you Besídka, you are now my benchmark for the worst restaurant I have been to in my whole life, I will never visit this place again.

Food was great (I had the salami pizza) and the restaurant was very coolBUT… they forgot about my pizza (served my friend after 10 minutes) and then didn’t really care that they had forgotten. I feel like they could of done something to resolve my issue but they didn’t offer us a discount or anything! Wouldn’t come back

Best lunch in the region!A group of 6, we had amazing homemade ice tea, schnitzels (not greasy at all!), baked trouts (fresh fish, delicious crust) and a pair of pizzas (Italian style, very large, thin crust). Everything was fantastic. Bill total 1700czk.Just the place to go if you are tired of the poor regional standard of traditional czech hospoda" stuck in the last century."

The best hotel you can visit in South Bohemia. Perfect pizza, they have Zacapa on bar, and the rooms. The rooms. They have been designed by Koucky, my favorite architect in Czechia. This is a must see. I really can't recommend it more ❤️

Very spacious room, comfortable bed, very different feel to most hotels but we loved it. Dinner at the restaurant was easily the best meal we've had in the Czech Republic. Friendly waiter who spoke English very well. Would highly recommend.

We visited the restaurant during the lockdown so there was just a window opened- we ordered coffee and handled the waiter our reusable coffee cups. He promptly ignored it and gave us their plastic cups. When I asked why he couldnt use ours he said it doesnt fit under the machine and it would not a proper cappuccino. I argued that in last 10 cafés the staff was happy to use our cups. Anyway, I wasnt amazed by their behavior. I love Divadlo Sklep but when visiting Slavonice again i will avoid this Café.
