Lot of information from history of Prague Castle, same as country. It's nice, but it was really cold inside

Few things to see inside, maybe a guided tour would tell a good story about it, but with no guide it's really not interesting at all.

The Story of Prague Castle is the name of a permanent exhibition that was opened in 2004 in the Gothic floor of the Old Royal Palace at Prague Castle. The permanent exhibition will introduce you to the thousand-year history of Prague Castle as a place where the history of Czech statehood was formed. It also tries to capture everyday life at Prague Castle and focuses not only on Czech rulers and presidents, but also on other ordinary inhabitants of the castle. The exhibition features original monuments from the castle's collections, including archaeological exhibits - all exhibits are accompanied by texts on panels and detailed description in both Czech and English. The top adornment of the collections is the armor and helmet of St. Wenceslas from the 10th century, which comes from the St. Vitus Cathedral treasure.Příběh Pražského hradu je název stálé expozice, která byla v roce 2004 otevřena v prostorech gotického podlaží Starého královského paláce na Pražském hradě. Stálá výstava vás seznámí s tisíciletou historií Pražského hradu jako místa, v němž se tvořily dějiny české státnosti. Snaží se rovněž zachytit každodenní život na Pražském hradě a nezaměřuje se jen na české panovníky a prezidenty, ale i na další řadové obyvatele hradu. V expozici jsou vystaveny originální památky z hradních sbírek včetně archeologických exponátů, všechny exponáty jsou doplněny texty na panelech i detailními popisky exponátů v českém i anglickém jazyce. Ozdobou sbírek je zbroj a helma svatého Václava z 10. století, pocházející ze svatovítského chrámového pokladu.

Not recommended. The exhibition is average and there’s a very rude female staff at the entrance who refuse to let me use the bathroom here even though I paid for a valid ticket to this permanent exhibition

Probably the best stop in the whole complex. The museum contains extensive descriptions of the castle's history - which mirrors that of Prague's history - alongside a large range of artifacts, some of which are very interesting to look and read about. Be sure to check out the early-midevil skeletons!

A bit empty inside and you’re not exactly allowed to take photos of everything but you can learn a couple things.

This is an amazing building worth a visit to learn about the history of Prague castle and has nice decorative paitings
