I have observed the preschool from its inception. The school started with the highest standards and maintained the high standards in all areas, instruction, hygiene, meals and meal preparation, record keeping, and open communication with parents. I have watched and listened as they constantly strive to model respectful and clear communication among all staff. They obviously know that their teaching comes through their character and not by mere content and psycholinguistic expertise.I would highly recommend the British Preschool located at the Florentinum.David Snell, BA, MA, Ed.S, graduate certificate TESOL.

We now have a 4 year long experience, both our kids attend this preschool / kindergarten. Our daughter started at almost 3 and our son when he was just over 2.The atmosphere here is very child friendly, family friendly. Teachers are professional and still partners and friends to the children. Most teachers are stable employees and have been around for quite some time - which is honestly the most important aspect to me - the stability, the fact that the school treats its employees well and when kids get used to staff, that this is all stable environment for the children. You can also talk to the director any time about anything you need, the founders are around quite often and genuinely care.The level of education is outstanding (our daughter has passed all private and public special program entry exams for first grade and so have all her other classmates! - to English speaking and Czech schools), but in no way exaggerated - the children have time to be children, to be outside and play and be creative.I truly recommend this school, its management as well as teachers.Location is great.

I would like to take this opportunity to address some important aspects regarding Florentinum School that seem to have gone unnoticed by many of the parents who have given the school high ratings. It is crucial that we, as responsible parents, not only consider the educational aspect but also take the time to engage with the teachers who are caring for our children, to consider the emotional well-being and safety of our children under the care of the school.Regrettably, Florentinum School falls short in providing a secure and nurturing environment for our children. The absence of proper safety measures raises concerns that should not be ignored. Parents have the right to be well-informed about the actions taken by the school to guarantee the protection and welfare of our precious little ones. Transparency and open communication in this regard are pivotal for establishing trust and ensuring the utmost safety of our children.Furthermore, it is disheartening to observe that Florentinum School undervalues the staff members responsible for caring for our children. By underpaying and neglecting their support, the school demonstrates a disregard for the well-being of its employees. We must acknowledge that educators are the backbone of a nurturing learning environment. Failing to adequately compensate and support them jeopardizes the quality of education and care our children receive.As concerned parents, it is crucial that we engage in constructive discussions and actively collaborate to bring about positive changes within our school community. By working together, we can foster an environment where our concerns are addressed and improvements are made. Let us prioritize the well-being and education of our children, striving for a school that truly values its students, staff, and the quality of service it provides.Our children deserve a safe, nurturing, and high-quality educational environment. Absolutely great environment, where kids are lead to all knowledges, creativity, discipline, imagination, curtesy and art. I can only recommend this preschool to any kid between app. 1,5 - 6 years.
