Discounts Prague Hotel

I have never been in worse hotel than this one. Despite it was ugly, it was sooooo dirty. Disgusting. The heating didn’t worked. The bathroom was worse than in a 1970 motorhome. The breakfast was a small portion and the glasses were dirty.The lady who managed the breakfast (and i assume the cleaning with no results) was super bored and she didn’t give a **** about it.I DON’T RECOMEND IT!!!

For the price, I was not expecting the Ritz but this was just terrible. From my many stays at hostels, this has been the worst. The automated check-in process is annoying. It is a noisy place, you can hearbthe water flowing and the staff make a lot of noise in the mornings. Clean sheets and towels but the rest of the place is very dirty: squashed bugs that have never been swipe away, you can tell they don't vacuum properly, the showers are full of mold. Very uncomfortable beds. You can tell they really don't care at all.

Absolutely appaling hostel. Initially a very impersonal service, check in done via computer. Scanned names spelt wrong and were unchangeable. Not all room numbers were printed on the receipts, and with no staff present, it was unclear which room everyone was staying in. Amenities do not match the online description at all. Room of five beds was very compact, beds far too close together - giving a claustrophobic feeling. The hygiene of the rooms was questionable. Both male and female bathrooms were in a disgusting state (photo below). Eventually, members of staff were found (all in the staff room) loudly cursing at each other. They proceeded to be incredibly rude to my group. We checked out within thirty minutes of checking in, purely because we were too uncomfortable to stay the night. On our trip we stayed in many other hostels, none of which were even slightly close to this standard. Would never recommend.

The stay was horrible there was literally a small scorpion, yes a scorpion. It was alive also which I had to kill. It is really hot even if you open the window, there is no air conditioning not even a fan. The shower is right next to the toilet which isn’t really pleasing, there was also a lot of hair on the carpet and mosquitoes on the walls that were previously killed. I do not recommend anyone staying here.

Despite obvious shortcomings for XXI century west European standards, it remains that everything works, staff is really helpful and it's value for money. It's Soviet style"

Reviews from previous visitors mentioned remarks about friendly staff and issues regarding cleanliness and hygiene. The friendly staff is unfortunately the only good thing I can mention about my experience. The room we had was unfortunately dirty and looked like it was not vacuumed in a loooong while, with bunches of hair from more than one person on the floor, our bedding and in the bathroom - witch happened to be slightly larger that the WC on an airplane. The breakfast area was untidy and I had to clear and clean my own table. It got a bit much for us and we decided to check out the next morning, even though we booked for 3 nights. These guys do 'discounts' very good...

An amazing location and the hotel is a beautiful structure. The service was as if they could read our minds! The staff were exceptionally helpful, the room was lovely, and the food was sensational. Every detail had been considered and catered for, which made for carefree and enjoyable break. We had a fantastic holiday here and we will return :) Highly recommended

It's great place for one or two nights but definitely not for longer. Room is clean but we had few spiders behind the bed. Bathrooms are little bit too open and it's uncomfortable to shower there. It's also really old. Area is quiet and nice.

It is a under level category hotel, the staff is no kindly. The room was dirty and smell, the bathroom is small. Any table, any chair in the room to sit down. Too much of noise. For me this hotel (?) not reach even the level of hostel. The only thing that I liked the good connection with the city center.

We cannot recommend this hotel, due to bad sewage smells from the tiny bathroom in our room. The communal bathrooms were more hygienic than ours was. Also, the hotel completely lacks fire/smoke alarms, which felt unsafe in a partly wooden building. The breakfast was not of adequate hygienic standard, with dirty milk jars and uncooled meats. The sheets in our beds were damp when we arrived. The window on the ground floor was barely able to open/close (necessary to open due to poor ventilation).
