Waited 45 minutes.Waitress was very rude when we said it.„This is not MacDonalds“I asked if my dish has butter.She said no. Then she brings out the dish and says the sidedish has butter and i should not eat it.This was half the dish so i ate nothing before a 5 hour train.Goulash soup had only potatoes.Since the owner wrote back- “this is not how you write “ - which is a response more than one review on this page.I must clarify.The word i wrote are direct quotes of the staff.In my very personal opinion this is rude.But maybe this is acceptable in another culture.Make up you own mind.Adding a clear photo of the soup- interpretation is left to the viewers.

Charles Bridge Restaurant
Walked passed this hidden gem and decided to brave the alleyway towards the water to see what it held… a bit pricier than some other restaurants in Prague but oh so worth the money!! If you have some time to sit and savour your food and wine please check this place out. We had a late lunch here and everyone left with a memory of one of the best meals we have had.

We had a lovely lunch here, what a great hidden restaurant on the water. We both had something small but a drink each to enjoy.We would definitely recommend.I found this restaurant online and filled in the form for a reservation, they replied back to me a few times and there was no problem, I just wish they had a live booking system so my reservation was guaranteed straight away. That would be my only suggestion for improvement.

Amazing staff, very friendly, helpful and kind! The food was equally awesome, I particular enjoyed salmon tartar - it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the place.

The Charles Bridge restaurant & terrace has good food, great view, but their service and wine wasn't. The goulash was better than most of the other restaurants nearby, but I wouldn't go back because of the bad service. The wine was terrible at best. What a disappointment, when service isn't up to the same standard as the quality of food.

Our trip to Prague was at its conclusion and we could not have been happier before we entered this restaurant. Never have I felt such a hostile and rude behaviour displayed by the staff anywhere in the world. Not only the staff refuse to give us a table of our choice as we did not have a reservation at 3:00 in the afternoon they simply refused to wait on us. Thrice we requested for someone to take our order and all three times the staff ignored and walked right pass us. We finally got up and decided to leave and even then they chose to belittle us and ignored us completely. We simply could not understand the reason for such treatment and behaviour displayed by the staff and it was both embarrassing and extremely hurtful being treated in such a manner.

The place is nice and the view and setting are truly spectacular.We had a voucher from slevomat and the reservation was not as smooth as I'd like it to be. To my question what time I can book during the weekend, I only got an answer that my reservation is confirmed. No day, no time. I called to explain this, but no one spoke English...Anyway, the food was all right, not wow, the staff very professional and the view on the bridge and the river is really charming. Quite pricey though, but given the location it's understandable.

We were a group of 18 people with reservation for terrace view on a friday evening, due to our own fault we arrived an hour late and of course no terrace spots were left as it was packed, however the very friendly staff showed us to an indoor hall where there was space and we could sit, there they even had a small karaoke system and we ended up having almost like a little private party with beers and nice food and singing :) we had a blast and the food&drinks were not too expensive what you would expect from a place in a location like that. The smokers in our group could go outside on the terrace and still enjoy the nice view while getting a smoke. We had a great experience!
