Cozy place to chill out with beer. Great to enjoy the evening with friends. The staff was friendly and nice. Careful, they do not accept credit cards, cash only!

Local is a pleasant pub in downtown Prague.The riverbank and several tram stops are nearby.Nothing extra and that's exactly what is extra.Cozy, family atmosphere, decorations and pictures on the walls.Both young and old go here.When I was there, a 60+ year old man was drinking beer at the counter, while university students were probably studying, with laptops on the table. There are several sockets next to each table, you can conveniently charge not only laptops, but also other electrical devices here.The menu is also available in English and the bartender speaks English. They serve simple meals, toast, pizzas and snacks. These are locally made, not frozen products. Electronic, smokeless tobacco products can also be used indoors.I highly recommend this place if you live in Prague, if you come to Prague on vacation, if you are young, if you are old. I recommend it even if you arrive alone and even if several people have arrived.There is Heineken beer on tap and of course you can pay with a contactless bank card. I think I have said everything about this bar.I will come here again next time.

We came here almost every day we were in Prague. All staff were absolutely lovely and drinks were tasty and very reasonably priced!It’s a lovely hidden gem a street or so away from from the river.I’d highly recommend it for a quiet drink with a great atmosphere!

This is a very nice and cozy cafe/bar with a wonderful and very kind staff. This place has a unique atmosphere - and as far as I know sometimes they also serve as a gallery so there are paintings on the wall all around so it truly creates a special mood. I would definitely recommend this place for friendly discussions or for dates. And it is also very close to the metro station so you can easily approach it. They have great beers like IPA Beránek however it would be even greater if they had some other beers from small Czech breweries.
