The place is nice and clean and the staff were very fast and friendly. I tried their pasta today and it was really good especially after a hiking from Bohemian Paradise.

I have been here twice. The food is really good. Unfortunately the staff are unhelpful. No childens menu, food is served randomly.

While walking in Česky Raj among one of the trails, we were looking for an open place to have a quick lunch and something to drink. I must say that the restaurant of the castle was a neat stop and a perfect choice for a hike of a few hours in the woods.The personnel was welcoming, speaking English and attentive to details (they replaced my wife’s wine as it got slightly spilled on the tray when they served it).The beef gulaš was nice though the meat was not as tender as we were expecting for the standard of the place, but we came to eat late in the afternoon, and beggars can’t be choosers in this instance for us.We recommend this place if you are hiking on the trail and need a place to restore your strength before resuming walking !
