It's a lovely non pretentious place. We bumped into a crazy meeting with people sitting at a big table and playing live music. Postřižinské pivo was never the best... Try Únětice.

Very specific place. Don't take me wrong, three stars aren't bad at all - staff is (usually) friendly, beer is (usually) good, the beer specials are always great and the atmosphere is unique. The place just has its specifics - in a sense, it's a prime example of a real Czech pub. Definitely go for it, if you enjoy local experiences. Don't expect cuisine though: it's mostly just beer and shots.

Typical czech pub, friendly and family atmosphere, underground dwelling - sort of the Bag-end (from Hobit). The beer there is called Postřižiny. Not much cooking is done there, but you can order some pickled Hermelin cheese or some other cold cusine or they can bake you a frozen pizza. Lots of years back I was surprised that you cant smoke weed in a place called Jamaica, but now smoking anything is prohibited in all pubs and restarants in Czechia. (so there is a ashray set outside).

As classic of a Czech Bar as you can find, with a very mixed crowd. Staff is very nice and you can get along with English. Very good beer on tap and always a very good special for a good price around, in regards of food don't expect more than classic Czech bar food.

Friendly place with nice waitresses. Cheap drinks with excellent care of beer and a changing beer special. You can buy some small snack with beer. It is good place to meet with your friends not to gooing for diner.

Awesome pub near Anděl. Cool atmosphere, a bit retro, definitely informal and it's just an ideal place to grab a beer and till late at night. Good prices too!

Nice environment with some good beers, if you only know english, they have an english menu, but they'll get frustrated if they have to give you the English one. Overall a good place

One of the best pubs in Prague, with quality beer from small breweries on the tap, and a cosy atmosphere inside, which is slightly basement-like but only a few steps down from the street. Be careful what time you visit as it is popular and you may end up looking forlornly for tables which are not reserved.
