We reservated a table for 2 people the day before, when we arrived the restaurant was full and we got send away. Lady was kinda rude to us, even after i showed her the email with the confirmation.

We visited restaurant Svejk because of the good reviews. And we were not disappointed. From the outside, the place does not seem attractive, but behind is a fantastic courtyard. It was almost full, mostly with locals. The food is traditional Czech and the menu is only in Czech, so remember Google translate. The service is very friendly and attentive. If you as a tourist come to Vrchlabi it is a place to visit.

Amazing place. Sat outside and enjoyed my food and a few drinks. The cost was right and the staff were very helpful, especially as I do not speak Czech.I had Svíčková with Cream and Cranberries (if you don't get Cream and Cranberries with your Svíčková in the Czech Republic, you've been robbed), wonderful stuff.

My son and I visited this beautiful little restaurant as we wanted a true authentic Czech meal. The staff and food was fantastic. Very affordable and the staff were extremely nice. One of the best dining experiences of our trip to Czechia.
