I don't understand the negative reviews. The food was very good, the service fast and friendly and the restaurant itself is quite nice. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed a nice (and huge) dinner without spending much. So what if you have to pay cash? They also take euros, not a big deal.

Nice restaurant down one of the smaller streets but worth a visit. Staff are really nice and friendly. Service very good. Food excellent and good value with nice local beers. Would definitely recommend.

Went here for lunch having spotted the menu the previous day. We enjoyed a bottle of fizz in the courtyard and both had the lesser town grill. The food didn't take too long to arrive and was okay, a little overdone in places. Service was OK as well, wasn't massively busy. Probably wouldn't return, but it wasn't terrible.

Worst experience in Prague. I wish I had read all the reviews before eating here. We had a couple of drinks and a plate of cold meat. The bill arrived and there was a cover charge included and a handwritten tip (first time I've seen such a practice although I always tip in Prague). We asked about the cover charge and they said it was for the bread. We had not been told bread is chargeable and had not ordered it. I asked to pay by card and they said cash only. This was never mentioned before. Luckily we had enough cash otherwise we would have had to use their own ATM. According to our previous tour guide (and reviews here) such private ATMs charge huge fees. We left disgusted with this place. I only wish I could give it zero stars. Avoid!!!!

Everything was great except when I got the bill seeing a $35czk charge. The owner told me it is for bread and butter which I did not ask for. Almost most restaurants I have been to give you bread and butter complimentary. Other tables ordered just drinks and they did not serve bread but i ordered lunch and drink and they served me the bread. Also I was one person and they served me a basket of bread. Go figure. The food was decent and good size. 2 stars because they charged me for bread.

Service was great, food was really good. It took a while for them to notice we were there but that’s ok, it was between lunch and dinner. Yes, they charge a service fee, but I appreciate that, it makes tipping easier. I had the beef in cream sauce and it was delicious, wife had ribs, although not Texas ribs, they were pretty good! Prices are fair for what we got. I can recommend this restaurant!

After I was at the new Jewish cemetery, I stopped here and was very satisfied. The food was very good and what I particularly liked was the rustic and cozy interior. Would definitely eat here again. The service was friendly and nice

You should be aware of the additional costs of eating at this place. To begin with, you are charged an additional couvert" fee of 35 crowns per person. Then your receipt receives an apparently mandatory tip of 10%. Then the waiter tells you that card payments are not accepted and you are forced to use an ATM they have on-premise

If you're looking for a real domestic Prague food, this is the right place! Big portions, very tasty food, coupled with a fantastic beer makes you uncouple your belt and breathe heavily. The staff is really cool and helpful and will gladly advise you in your choice. Be sure to visit.
