Small and expensive compared to other ski areas in Czech Republic. Ski rent is very expensive, parking is paid and ski school is accessible only by car and separate from the main ski area.

Beautiful place for a visit. Amazing view but there can be a plenty of people if the weather is nice.

Nice ski resort close to PL/CZK/DE border. There are not many good ski centrums in Czechia, but Ješted is definitely one of the better ones. Resort offers couple of ski tracks, even one small track for little kids. The resort is also available for night skiing and in the morning arranges fresh track. One minus is the cableway, which is quite old and not covered, so you can get really cold while sitting there.

Best place to ski, simply superb

If all you need is a ski pass and are happy with an hour or 2 skiing then you may be ok but…whatever you do, if possible DO NOT book in advance! Too many occasions have there been a mix up with instructors (non available even though it was booked) lack of equipment to hire, unprepared slopes (or no snow) or serious lack of organisation causing huge waiting times, you have no chance of getting a refund ,even when they admit the mistake is from their end. (manager never seems to be there).The whole resort has gotten worse and worse over the years yet the price just goes up and up without any real upgrade in service. The staff are nearly always so rude it’s amazing anyone would employ them and let’s not get on to parking.Save your money and year sanity.

Beautiful landscape. I was there in January and it was a lot of snow. The ski jump was closed but it was impressive to see the straight jumping pad!

I found myself for a week in Liberec, in January, and found out about this ski resort, which you can get to by tram from downling. Looking online, it looked ok. And it was. This is not Alpine skiing, relatively speaking the runs are short. But they are ok, and better than sitting in a hotel room. I will stick with Saint Anton for my holidays, but if in Liberec again, i will certainly make a trip to Jested.
