Great cozy place. Tatare and pickled cheese was very tasty. 3 beers on tap (one of them Urquell). I recommend coming here instead of the nearby tourist trap U Fleku.

Awesome place with wonderful food, peaceful atmosphere, and kind staff. Maruška and Jarda were extremely kind and professional. Had the appetizer boat and everything was 10/10, including Plzeň beer. Highly recommended. Will be coming back.

I had an amazing experience at U Mateje tonight! The restaurant had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful decor and soft lighting that created a perfect ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious and lovely presented. The flavors were unique and exciting, and everything was cooked to perfection. Maruška, Jarda and other staff members were friendly and attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Overall, I had an great dining experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, great drinks, and fantastic service.

Great service, Maruska and Jarda took great care of us. They were very friendly and made us feel welcome at a very traditional restaurant. The food was very good, simple ingredients done right, and very big portions! Presentation was also beautiful.Also the decor is really amazing, lovely lunch, thank you.

good taste and good service. It’s my first meal in Prague and it’s surprising me. I would recommend Beef Gulasch, soft dumpling with tasty beef☺️ my friend tried Tartare which is also special you can try it with toasted bread and garlic sauce☺️

I recently dined at your establishment and I must say that the food was absolutely amazing. From the appetizers to the main course and dessert, everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.However, I must admit that I found the prices to be a bit higher than expected. While I understand the need to charge for high-quality ingredients and exceptional service, I couldn't help but feel that the prices were a bit inflated.Despite this, I still had an enjoyable dining experience at your restaurant and would recommend it to others who are willing to pay a premium for great food. Perhaps in the future, you could consider offering some more affordable options for customers who are on a tighter budget.Overall, I would like to commend your restaurant for the exceptional quality of the food and the overall dining experience. Keep up the great work!
