Babiččina spíž - bezlepková pekárna/ Gluten-free bakery

Looks very nice in the picture, but in reality there wasn't many options we come at 11:00 am, there wasn't glutenfree sandwiches or any baguette,croissant etc. . Also - not all the products are gluten free.

Absolutely lovely café, having coeliac disease I’m very anxious eating at new places so this place has been a godsend being entirely gluten free! Been here everyday so far we’ve been in Prague. A lovely selection of bagels, breads, pre-made sandwiches and cakes, their coconut cake is one of the best I’ve tasted! Highly recommend.

The sandwiches are very good, the bread is soft and tasty and the staff very friendly. The doughnut dough still needs some improvement to make it more fluffy and less dense. But definitely a nice pit stop for breakfast!

Lovely cafe, great range of bread, cakes and drinks. Bagel was fantastic, great to have option for it to be heated too.

Update: thank you Dusan for your reply. The cake was the apple kind, with bread. Informing the staff about the measures they can take to keep the baked goods uncontaminated would be really welcome.As a celiac, I am simply happy that such a place exists in the first place, with quite a big variety of cakes, fresh sandwiches & bread. However, I cannot give 5 stars because the cakes we chose were simply not that great, one of them actually too sour (fermented?). Not sure if there’s a lack of sugar but they definitely need a bit of revision.The coconut cake is okay but a bit too dry, another common thing.And my biggest complain would be the croissants and bread in the display at the window - they are the first thing you see, your jaw drops and only when you’re inside you see everywhere written that they are actually with gluten. They are indeed sold separately and baked in another bakery but the same people will handle them and even bring them (not yet packed) to the cashier which is right next to the fresh baked cakes, so cross-contamination cannot be fully ruled out this way… I would advise you to reconsider this, since even the smallest crumbles can be damaging to celiacs and it would be a pity since you’re anyway taking the trouble to bake all these products without any gluten.

Great pastries, breads and dessert all gluten-free

Absolutely brilliant. Celiac safe spot in a city where there are few. You can eat everything here. Wish they’d hade more salty things, but the bagel I had was really nice. Very tasty cakes and traditional Czech sweets. Perfect for breakfast or a snack.

I have a gluten allergy and I was excited to visit this bakery looking at the wonderful reviews. I went there on the afternoon of 15-Oct and was thoroughly disappointed! The apple strudel was too dry and the plum tart was wet and soggy. I hope they had a bad day that day and wish them luck serving better to the other connoisseurs.

A wonderful small bakery where everything is made without gluten and without sugar (I believe they use xylitol as a substitute).While on a holiday my partner and I came very often as its not easy to find nice handmade bread, pastry and desserts made without sugar and gluten. We tried different pastries and cakes, they were all wonderful. Also the owner was a very kind and funny man who made the experience even better.
