St. Martin in the Wall Church- when the Old Town walls were built in the 13th century, church of St. Martin was divided in two. The larger part was left outside the walls and later became part of the New Town. The smaller part together with the church became part of the Old Town. The south wall of the church backed onto the Old Town wall, hence the name St. Martin in the Wall.

A plain little temple in downtown Prague. Popular place for concerts for tourists and small weddings, but the tiny space in front of the temple (+ the car transit on the street) limits the recessional part considerably.

Really historical church. Read a bit about it and then go visit. For an American you really appreciate the history in this little church. We went to the quartet concert, which was a really splendid performance. The acoustics blended in with the ancient walls of the church. The little windows and original stain glass add to the charm. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing spiritual place. Great for the concerts of clasical music. We were there for fantastic New Year's concert done by Marketa Fassati. She did great job. Best start of 2020.
