Homemade cakes, free glass of water (from the tap) with your coffee, Wifi, art exhibition - this place is great 4 meeting friends as well as to conduct an informal business meeting.

Today me and my friends went to have coffee at U Vás. When paying, you said to pay for all together but the person standing at the counter made a mistake, they thought my friend only paid 1 tea and 1 matcha but my friend wanted to pay all. It was a mistake but the attitude of the staff there let me down a lot - a staff man made a disrespectful expression. Sad to experience in Ceske Budejovice.

I keep returning to this address for 14 years already. It changed owners and names a few times but it’s still a great place to have a coffee, desert and read a book or talk with your friends. Serve breakfast too. Importantly, they almost constantly feature art work from local artists which you can enjoy (or dislike - a good conversation starter) and even buy.

We went for coffee and some sweets. The place itself is very spacious and it had their own vibe. Polite waitress and great coffee. Clean place.
