Its my 1st time here. Airport is very small (not so crowdy which i great), but everything seem to run smoothly. Parking free for drop offs only (max 15mins)

The worst officer encountered in my life. I've been stopped for visa check which is so embarrassing waiting for long busy queue. Officer has no knowledge at all what kind of documents we have. Please give them a proper training! Never ever come back!

Local airport with all the necessary facilities to serve passenger transport. Long runway can receive any big aircraft. During airshows NATO Days even DC10, B52 and B1B Lancer were hosted.

Landed here on a general aviation practice flight. AVGAS available, landing/handling costs are in the acceptable/favourable range. Crew room available for post-flight and pre-flight activities. Recommending for practice flights.

I have just taken plane from Ostrava to London. I'm Czech and my daughter who is 20 years old is British. We live in UK. I'm extremely disappointed that I'm being questioned by the passport control every time if she is my daughter due to her darker skin and having different surname to me. Once again the passport officer made ccomment to me that I could be trafficing children.. she is 20 years old. I don't feel I need to prove that she is my daughter. She can travel.as much as anyone. 'im absolutely sick of it now that every time I fly home I'm being treated this way. And she being treated differently. It still shows clear discrimination towards other people. My trip has once again been ruined by people's ignorance.

I think Ostrava Airport management has still a lot to learn, before to become an international airport. In the past 11years i had to weekly drive to katowice and krakow to take a flight. I am happy of the new connection to Warsaw, and I wish this will give the opportunity to finally follow Polish airports example: not just in the way to get to a decent standard of flights connections, but also to move on from a local mindset and to embrace a more international spirit.

I was denied boarding by the Ostrava airport staff despite the fact that I had purchased the seat reservation when buying the tickets. I was travelling with 2 children and according to EU 261 regulation family with young children should not be denied boarding and an offload should be actively sought. We only needed one single traveller who would be given a different flight.However Ostrava airport staff did not do any of it, they were unprofessional and some of them arrogant.When I discussed this issue with the Brno airport staff I found a completely different approach, very helpful and proactive.I still cannot believe how careless and unprofessional they were there. Avoid this airpot if you can!Re your response: You were not left with many options?!You were left with the only option, if you cared for your customers, and it is to follow the Ryanair policy and find 1 single traveller who would be moved to a different flight.Family with young children should not be denied boarding under any circumstances.BUT YOU DECIDED TO DO NOTHING AND LEAVE TWO CHILDREN WITH THEIR MOTHER AT THE AIRPORT.No care, lazy and impolite approach, no knowledge of policies, or just ignorance, no moral, blaming Ryanair so your staff did not have to do much. Your response shows the same. have you even cared to investigate what has happened!?Brno airport showed much more customer care and human care.
