We enjoyed a special birthday celebration that evening and the hotel recommended this as one of the best restaurants in Prague. From the moment you step through the doors, you are transported into a medieval wonderland, complete with charming decor and an enchanting atmosphere.The service at U Modré Kachničky is nothing short of spectacular. The service was exquisite! The food was excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant is classic and fancy, with very dim light and a calm ambience. It was a silent place to relax and enjoy the food.

A wonderful place to eat. The duck and the deer were terribly delicious. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. They asked us where are we from and the pianist started to play songs from our country. We paid 100 euros for 2 (1 starter, 2 main dishes, 4 glasses of wine). It totally worths the price. Very recommended.

Definitely a great experience. A combination of a great traditional feel of interior decor and fantastic food. The service was second to none. A very small thing from me was that the music wad a little too calming and relaxing. Apart from this it was the best food experience in beautiful Prague.

All things considered my best dining experience. I had the tasting menu with wine pairing. The flavours of the food were incredible, each course exceeding my high expectations. The passion and pride shown by the staff was so apparent and was only equalled by their attentiveness to ensure they delivered perfection.

A master class in Czech elegance. Hearty Moravian dishes in a stunning atmosphere. The service is rightfully proud of the restaurant's legacy. The furniture and dishware alone deserve a visit. There isn't quite a place like this anywhere else

One of the best meals I have ever had. Service was perfect and attentive, the food and wine was really good. I loved the atmosphere and beautiful decor, it feels like a posh medieval restaurant. The live piano playing in the other room made it more special. A must visit for Prague !!

Amazing Czech food! More so than that, the service was great and the atmosphere is captivating and cozy. Highly recommend this place! The venison soup was so tasty and rich and the chuck roast melted in your mouth. Make a reservation I saw people get turned down for not having one and they were full.
