OREA Spa Hotel Palace Zvon

Very bad experience! First of all we reserved 2 rooms for 5 people and they didn’t count one person and wanted to make us pay more even if at end they had the room prepared. Also then we came here for sauna and pool and everything was super dirty and very small! The personal was RUDE, no alternative even if we asked to pay more! 5 start hotel?? Are we kidding?????

The hotel was at a very good location. We came here before the resins starts but we still enjoyed it a lot since there weren’t so many people at the pool or sauna. The hotel has very nice staff, good service, and beautiful rooms. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was simple but good. We thought that was nice since we didn’t want to be disappointed at some of those Main Street restaurants.

Good hotel palace in the heart of Marianske Lazne. It is situated only 2-5 minutes walking to the main town attractions, near mineral water sources. The hotel has a free small swimming pool and Roman bath/sauna.

Really nice old hotel with its first republic charm, with professional service and great cuisine. we have been here several times and definitely come back soon again.

The hotel is rated as having four stars, but in reality, I don't think it even reaches 3—old furniture, old environment, swimming pool small and old. The personnel was helpful and friendly, and at the SPA, professional and helpful people. TV was not functional; even they changed with the other old one

The hotel is nice. Breakfasts were also good, fresh fruits and veggie, good selection.The personnel was nice as well.The procedures were a slight disappointment. Massages were very mild and it was rather creaming than muscle stretch. The packs felt nice but honestly expected to get some real mud/peat on my body not just to lie on some pillows. The price was not corresponding to the delivery. The anticelulitide massage was a good one.

My room was big and nice, the hotel is a bit old and the breakfast is okay. ☺️ Nice for a Weekend trip.

This hotel has some strengths - like its breakfast which is varied and good quality, and location (super central and right next to the colonnade). It is also very clean. Unfortunately it also has many weaknesses which can be easily remedied but maybe the management doesn’t care enough:- peeling paint of the doors and cracked glass in photo frames give it a shabby feel- no amenities in the bathroom - just a 2 in one liquid soap despite being a 4*- poor spa offering: the pool bar was always shut, mosaic falling off. We got a massage which was more of a rub, with blaring 80s soft rock in the background which was very odd. The masseuse didn’t ask to customise the treatment or make it relaxing, it felt very much like a massage factory and like they were glad to get it over and done with quickly- room has no AC so it is very warm, and has no fans. Sun is bright in the morning and right into the room, and the curtains aren’t blackout so you’re invariably woken up at 7am- the reception area is in pitch darkness after 9 or 10pm, which is dangerous and unnecessary- there is a musty smell in the reception area and corridors which could be rectified with air fresheners. It smells a little like a care home- dinner service ends at 8pm. I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere with such an early dinner serviceI’m not sure of what other hotels in the area offer but maybe it’s worth a look around before you book here

Bathroom trash was not cleaned on our arrival. Rubbish from previous visitors was there. Finish sauna door was dirty. Vapour sauna was smelling, this hotel is nice but older and it is recognizable on piping system also in the room - water stuck in basin and shower, or leaving very slowly. There was also hair on the toilette on our arrival.
