Saunia Thermal Resort

Rather difficult to find the entrance. Actually you need to enter Thermal Resort, go upstairs next to reception and in the elevator hall turn right to the corridor with the pool sign. Then the elevator on the left is the good one.The 2-hour entrance from 21 is not available so I gave up.

Saunia was a fantastic spa experience! Very spacious, comfortable and clean. Many saunas with different temperatures and humidity, intense sauna rituals, many ways to cool down (I especially liked the shaved ice). Big open-air heated pool with swimming lanes and jacuzzi stations. The hot thermal pool under the sky was extremely enjoyable, complete with fantastic view of the city. Nice bar with drinks & snacks. I suppose it may get more crowded and noisy on high season, but for our visit in March we had a perfect time. Probably the best experience of our short stay in KV.Tip: Saunia has deals with many hotels in the city, so ask your hotel Reception if they can get you a discount (or look for vouchers).

The cold pool and hot spring pool are both world class. Clean, beautiful. Ever swim in a pool at the top of a mountain? The views here are incredible. Totally worth the visit!!!

Amazing experience: a big choice of saunas, big pool, all clean and lots of space. Loved it! Herbal sauna is my fave + fantastic city views

I liked it here! many saunas, probably 8, all very well maintained, good ceremonials. But the best part for me was a huge open swimming pool with warmed water, so you can swim in winter too. It’s especially magical in evening with beautiful lightning of the pool and the whole view on Karlovy Vary.

Got scammed by this place. They offer a promotion on their website where you get the first entry free if you register and charge your account with CZK 300. We did this, then at the entrance they told us the promotion doesn't apply to them, which is not mentioned on the website. Then at the bistro" (only one bistro inside although two are stated on the website) which is basically a low grade fast-food place we got scammed again. Ordered and got two portions but they charged us for three. Only found out at home amd went back the next day to complain

I visited pool and saunas, looks very nice, sauna's world has enough kind of sauna. Saunas are places on two floors but cooling pool is only in first one. Unfortunately more saunas are placed on second floor.There is pretty cozy bar. Very nice view to Karlovy Vary spa part.

A great place to relax with an incredibly beautiful view of the city. The water is clean, warm and pleasant, from time to time fountains turn on and effects are like in a jacuzzi. The complex has a sauna. Comfortable locker rooms, showers and place where you can dry your hair.

Pool and sauna is ok. A lot of sauna choices and two pools with warm water outside. However on the exit i got charged the entrance fee even though i have payed on the entrance already. The only thing I bought was two jugs of water and i got charged 500+ on the exit. When I questioned the price receptionist didn’t even tried to double check. As it turned out i got already used chip and they didn’t clear it before giving it to me. They have returned the money, however it left uncomfortable feeling. Beware!!!

Excellent worth for you money if you're planning an all-day stay in the wellness and pool area. It seems a bit pricey when compared with other wellness centres, but it's quite worth it.- The staff is amazing. I visited the bar several times and I saw the staff working really hard trying to serve everyone. The only bad experience in the bar came from the guests themselves, many of whom are Russian-speaking guests.- The outside pools are amazing. I was there during the day and night and the atmosphere is just amazing.- The saunas are generally clean. If only some visitors knew how to behave better. I hated when people were entering the ceremonial sessions half-way through.- It takes some time to find the lockers and all sauna spaces, but if you're not in the two-digit IQ zone, you'll be fine.- Definitely going back here again soon.
