This is option one.Tesco as one of the biggest player on the market is having three options how to shop : Tesco Express for a small shop for singles or small families, be carefull prices are mostly little bit higher. Than the option : Supermarket as a normal grocery store in the size of a classic discount. Last option : Tesco extra which is mostly open the longest time (nonstop event) and have the size of a hypermarket.

Its very small and compact, but it has most of what you need including fresh meat and vegetables. If you try to use the tesco app scan and shop" you most likely will face difficulties. There wasn't a single time (out of many) that when the app requested a shop personnel authorization ( due to alcohol or just a random check) that went smoothly. Every time the cashier doesn't understand what you ask for

Women at check out was rude. I understand that we have a language barrier but respect should go both ways. Treating us like we are some kind of alien, never going back

The guy serving us was so rude. He didn't speak much English and we don't speak much Czech, we where trying to ask for something behind the till and he just kept muttering and swearing at us under his breath because he didn't understand. We know tourists can be pretty frustrating but this made us feel so uncomfortable it was horrible just standing there.

Overpriced compared to smaller shops in the neigbourhood. Sometimes long queues. The choice is also not so great. But there are times when the shop saves you. Therefore an average rating.
