Great castle ruins. I've been here 3 times in 14 years so I've seen the progression, they've come a long way on restoring it. Nice tour and history of the castle and area.

Nice place to have a nice walk up to hill to the castle. There was a nice guided tour in Czech language. We needed to hurry as there was a wedding planned after. Beautiful views, interesting story behind all the left parts of the castle. Plan some hike around and go for some brewery.

Beautiful romantic place with lovely garden. Rooms are clean, featuring antique pieces of furniture without compromising comfort. Massive walls kept comfortable temperature inside despite of ~30° (almost 90F) outside.My only complains are absence of fridge and low breakfast time flexibility (8-9am only) - given the place is relatively costly.Potštejn area has many interesting landmarks and opportunities for easy hiking. All in walking distance from the castle. I'm sure, I'll come again if there is another opportunity in the future.

On a top of a steep hill, you must walk 500m, there are some remaining of a Potštejn castle. Worth to climb up.

Very cool ruins. Be ready for a hike, its a little steep... but totally worth it.

The site is lovely, the guides not so much. Opening hours till 5.15 Pm, we reached the gate at 4.30. The guide told us they're closed already (last tour started at 15.30). We were planning to look at the old photos at the entrance gate at least, but lady drove us out claiming there's no more people anyway

Totally surprising. It looks like a complete ruin from the valley, but a lot of buildings are still intact or renovated. An interesting tour with a good information sheet in English and other languages. There's a small snack bar open if you have to wait for the next tour and the staff were very pleasant. Absolutely worth visiting.
