Hotel Džbán

Not very good value for money. We had a feeling they desperately try to pretend being in higher league than they really are. Even via false advertising. E.g. advertised “wellness park” is just a haphazard small swimming pool you would expect somewhere on a garden. Rooms are poorly lit and cramped. Though, the worst of all is the restaurant. Despite poor quality of meals, they keep confident pricing. Dzban can be good if you are looking for a basic accommodation, but expect nothing more

We tried the restaurant of the hotel which turned out to be a great experience..they made tasty food for reasonable prices even on Sunday evening when most places had their kitchen closed already.

Pleasant and climatic restaurant with tasty food and splendid beer and liquor. Very helpful and very nice stuff. If you are in Karlova Studanka, go and check out their Slezky Dzban beer.

Very Rude Staff ... came all the way from England arrived and found every table was reserved for some silly dancing... however I'm happy we will never step foot into this restaurant again, actually I now remember the live band was way too loud and made the dining experience a nightmare.. We went elsewhere for dinner .. what a shame.

Traditional Czech food and very professional service. Bear choice could be better but those they have are very good

Decent food for reasonable prices. When lunch time it's very crowded and you have to wait to be served. Also tables are too close so you can accidentally hit person behind you.

Haven't stayed in the hotel, just visited the wellness and I must say it was an experience. Everything - the pools, whirlpools, saunas, bathrooms, showers - is OUTDOORS. Of course the sauna is enclosed, but you need to go through the terrace to get there. There are no indoor dressing rooms and frankly, they were quite cold. The whirlpools with mineral waters were very pleasant, as was the sauna, but the fact that you than have to run through subzero temperatures to get dressed kind of took away from the experience. It definitely doesn't compare to some of the better wellness hotels, this felt way cheaper.

Today we went to the restaurant in Hotel Dzban - we were on a day trip in Karlova Studanka, we weren't staying at the hotel. Food was OK, tasty, but service was terrible. 2 of the 3 available waitresses were quite rude towards us (I suppose because we weren't Czech). It took 20 minutes to take our order and only because I've started gathering our things to leave the place. I wanted to report the rude behaviour to the manager but he was temporarily unavailable and I didn't want to spend there any more time.

First: very long waiting time for both, the service and the dishes.Second: food was too fat and fried on deep oil, that probably should be changed more often.Third: the dishes had no add-ons and were boring.In general, not recommend for lunch or dinner.Coffee and beer was good though.
