La Boutique Hotel

Our room on the top floor had a weird shape and had wooden beams in the middle of the room right next to the bed, making me literally have to climb out of the bed. The bed quality was okay. Our showerhead was leaky and the shower cabin was very small, I could hardly move. And I'm not a big person at all! The breakfast was good: lots of choices, warm, cold, dairies, fruits, etc. The hotel seems to be a combination of various buildings that have been collected together into one building: to get to some rooms, you have to go out of an exit (internal to the building), go down a few steps, go up a few steps, and then there's another hallway, which seems to have been part of another building previously.

Firstly, the location is convenient with a bus stand, tram and underground stations within about 6 minutes easy walk. Prague public transport is very cheap and convenient (buy a ticket on the tram or on the station with contactless payment).As a grown man travelling alone I was okay with the area but Smichov/Andel aren’t the safest places in the city. A few homeless/drunks about at night but haven’t seen them bothering people.There is a lift, but I had to go down one flight of stairs and then back up to get to the room. The room itself was clean, but the air conditioning took a long time to cool the room down but kept the room cool after.There is a large wardrobe with plenty of storage, an ironing board (but no iron), a safe and a few hangers. The bed was a fairly large and comfortable. The pillows provided were comfortable. The bathroom is small with a toilet, shower cubicle and a sink. The bottom of the sink has storage where you can find the towels. There is no towel rail however. No coffee/tea making equipment in room (wasn’t listed so no surprises).There is free breakfast which has a good spread and is clean/well stocked and that’s in the basement. I am an early riser so wasn’t a problem for me but the blinds let in a sliver of bright sunlight right in the pillow area and there is some road noise (even on 4th floor).Overall okay for me but I nearly fell down the stairs at night when the lights were out and there is a wooden beam in the room and I banged my head against it trying to close the blind. This was billed as a 4* hotel which it definitely isn’t.Receptionist is very helpful and in general had no issues with any of the staff.

The most terrible experience for me. I recommend to stay away from this hotel. The receptionist Ernan is super rude. He sweared in Russian language and threatened the client after complaining about the dirty bed linen. Please think twice before choosing this hotel. There are much more better places around the neighborhood.

Worst experience ever. Dirty room and bathroom. We asked for a cleaning lady and it was the same as before. The towels had hair not from us. The sheets dirty. The receptionist making rude and disrespectful comments about other guests. Horrible breakfast, raw egg, bread with bugs, dirty spoons. The lists never ends. Just please never book here. The pictures are totally scam.

De hotel rooms are clean, nice looking and have air conditioning!There is a large TV where you can watch all the streaming services on, which is really nice! Personnel is friendly and the breakfast is amazing!

I was a bit worried about seeing many negative reviews here. But it was unnecessary concern. Our stay went very well and we got a very spacious penthouse.The receptionists were not too friendly, I admit, but they do their job and that is enough.The breakfast was great. Many hot meals and cold meals. Given the price, I can recommend this place, particularly if you take a bus or train nearby.

We stayed again for a second time and requested room 44 at the top. While the suite is spacious and well decorated the hotel itself is getting either cheap trying to recover from the pandemic or is badly managed. The shower looked dirty from day 1 and never seemed to get better even with daily cleaning. We asked for a lightbulb to be replaced in the sitting room as it was missing and we never got it even after requesting it three times in 10 days. We also had to choose between watching tv or having a cold fridge as the electrical outlet the tv was plugged into did not work. The TV was also awkwardly placed being in the corner of the sitting room rather than in front of the couch. And the bedroom is missing some drawers to organize our clothes. The wifi was so poor we used the mobile service instead as it was faster.Also one of the concierge, a young Asian girl, never ever made eye contact or acknowledged us as guests. Pretty poor customer service.Overall, good location as Andêl is getting better with some choice restaurants but the hotel needs some investments to get better.

The good: The hotel is in a good location. The price is reasonable per day including a buffet breakfast with a good variety of bread, tea, coffee, jam, cheese, sausages, eggs, vegetables, cereal, and fruits. Comfortable bed and bathroom. There is a small fridge with beer, water, chocolates and so.The not-so-good:-Wifi not working on the 4th floor-Hitting not working in the evening-The elevator stopped working in the morning-Channels on TV are poor. No smart TVIn resume, it's a good hotel for the price, aside from these details for me at least was a good experience.

Located near tram stop for easy access to all the attractions. The room was clean and cosy. Staff were also very nice and welcoming.

Our room is on the staroprame brewery loading bay!!! They start working at 5am, if you're a light sleeper and starying here ask for a different room
