After a beautiful and chilly day roaming the streets of Praha, we stumbled upon a golden nugget. An old school Czechia bar and restaurant that serves up reasonably priced beverages in a somewhat toned down environment. Simple decor. With an Almost silent bar tender (we used hand gestures and pen and paper to communicate), it truly was a wonderful and laid back vibe. Would highly recommend for anyone not looking for anything fancy or over priced.

I love that old time splendor, others may not. If you share my feelings, have a beer in a very traditional beerpub in the heart of Prague Old City, close to the oldest church in the town and the Charles Bridge

We had to return to this place for the second time since everything was so amazing. The restaurant is small but cozy and mostly serves locals, who were very friendly to us. The food (mostly Czech dishes) tasted amazing and the price is very affordable, even cheap considering its quality and generous portion. My favourite is the goulash, but other dishes like the fried cheese or the roasted pork knuckle were very tasty as well. The time we spent there was so lovely that we ended up staying until the restaurant was closed, and still, we definitely will return if there’s a chance.

Very nice local place, we've been the only foreigners. English menu is available and you can pay with card. Really good beer in excelent prices. I liked nakladany hermelin a lot.

Proper Czech pub, we were the only tourists in there. Don't expect smiles but you do get good food, beer and service at unbelievable prices. The beer was 38 crowns.

After the tourist circus of Charles bridge it was so nice to walk the quieter streets to find this place. Pork knuckle was perfect. I brought some basic Czech phrases (hello, please, delicious) and a smile and had no issues with service despite obviously not being local. Visiting outside peak mealtime probably also helped.

The best pub in Prague. There's not much else to say. The staff may look at you a little funny at first if you're a tourist, but as the beers go down you become more and more of a customer. You can't help but love it, it's cosy and has everything you'd expect from a small Prague pub. And of course the prices are ridiculously cheap for how centrally located it is.

Great place to eat, really authentic. Staff is great, so the food. Best price/value place to have a dinner and a few drinks
