Boutique Hotel SwissHouse

Just returned from a fine 2 week stay at this establishment. Struggle to find anything to criticise about this comfortable and accommodating hotel. From the excellent service by all members of staff to the astounding collection of butterflies in the gardens! We stayed in a dog friendly room which had all the comforts from an excellent bed, furnishings and super shower in sizeable bathroom facilities. The kitchen was top draw, fine extensive breakfast with home made delicacies extending to lunchtime daily fresh soups to perhaps one of the best evening dining experiences in ML! Wine list maintained simply and as being rather particular about my wines I found all wines totally acceptable and all by the glass too. My sole experiences in the spa were those of massages which if your into an invigorating bruising then those will be for you, of course they will tweak accordingly!Well done to all and of course we will be back with our hounds who loved the area and their daily walks direct from their room into the forest behind!John, Jitka and the hounds

Lovely, clean room; great bed; excellent bathroom; nice location; quiet; poor WiFi; no staff or room service in evenings; no telephone, kettle, or tea/coffee in room; decent breakfast. Would stay again but things can be improved in some ways.

Stayed there one night and we absolutely loved it. Staff was 5 star. Lovely people, know how to treat customer. Everyone was just normal and friendly. Breakfast was amazing really. Simple but good quality and fresh. Bread was amazing too. Freshly baked at the premises. Amazing. To top it up hotel manager gave us some biscuits at checkout and was very friendly and polite. They treat people right and doesn't matter who you are they welcome you and make you feel like at home. We will come back when in the area for sure. Thank you.

Very nice, small hotel. The room and all other interiors are comfy. Everything was very clean. There are some nice art prints and sculptures here and there. Moreover, there is a nice garden where you can relax. The staff was very friendly and helpful adding to the lovely personal flair of the hotel. Breakfast was also great (make sure you don’t miss the homemade variations of bread). All in all, Boutique Hotel SwissHouse in my opinion is a very nice place for staying in Marienbad and enjoying a good time.

We only popped down for a cup of coffee on our way to Hamelika lookout tower. The coffee was nice but we really liked the hotel and wish we had stayed there. It looked modern, cozy and clean. An important bonus: they have a CAT!

Location is nice, not far away from the central part of the city. Breakfast was good, staff friendly, but the room could be more equipped and well decorated.

Wanted to be critical but the reception and stuff were outstanding and breakfast the same! Was excellent, especially considering how poor spa cities facilities often are

Nice bed & breakfast with gourmet food, but far from a 4-star hotel. Sauna needs to be prepared in advance for every visit, dinner needs to be ordered one day in advance. We used the glasses in the room the first day, no one cleaned them in a week. There is a cat going freely around the hotel. The materials and menus are in German and Czech, not very welcoming for English-speaking visitors. The indoor play room for kids was very nice, but not very clean. The staff seemed very unconcerned about Covid-19, we did not see any distancing measures or increased hygiene. Parking was quite tight, would not use without a parking assistant in the car. The hotel is not accessible without a car. No elevator or wheelchair / buggy access. No one helped us with the luggage from the car.

Fantastic hotel with a warm, attentive welcome. We only stayed one night but were really impressed by the staff, the room, the food and the whole ambience of the hotel. We enjoyed the 3 course meal in the evening which was fantastic value for such great quality dining. Our room was huge and the bathroom outstanding with a roll top bath. Set in a quiet position in the town, I would highly recommend staying here. The breakfast was lovely and the homemade bread was exquisite - definitely make the most of this! The manager gave us a personal send off as we checked out too which was a nice touch. We would like to come back and stay longer!

I´ve had an amazing stay at SwissHouse, it was definitely one of the best hotels I´ve stayed at in Czech Republic. Beautiful building, nice rooms, very warm welcome with great coffee next to the fireplace, tasty breakfast - to sum up, a perfect place to relax, highly recommended. And many thanks to Mrs. Šenkapoulová and Mrs.Cihlářová for sending me the book I´ve left at the hotel. My husband and I are looking forward to coming back to SwissHouse.
