We were so lucky to find this place open on the first day of the new year! The staff was very nice and translated us the options on the menu. The coffee and breakfast were delicious :) they speak both English and German which is really great. Thanks for the welcome!

Great atmosphere, loved the cappuccino and creme brûlée. Heating blankets are very good idea for this time of the year too.

Right at the main square, this café is convenient place for breakfast and/or coffee.I had eggs with ham for my breakfast. It was possible to exchange bread that is served with the eggs on regular base with croissant. I'm thankful for that.The waitress was asking for mine and my friend's order without writing it down. As the result, she forgot to bring it. On the other hand, it was also not marked on the bill.What I didn't like about the place are toilets. There is only 1 toiler for ladies, and 1 toilet for gentlemen. Waiting lines for the toilets were at the café in front of the toilets' door. If the café was full, it would surely bother customers.

We had egg Benedict because other things were out of stock. And it was TOO salty that I couldn‘t even finish. It actually ruined all the mood for my pleasant mood for trip.

Very nice place to have breakfast. They have an excellent menu, with a great combination of sweet and salty dishes. The pastry is amazing. Absolutely recommended when in Ceske Budějovice.
