Middle sized venue offering broad spectrum of books. Good thing is you can order online ahead and just pick it up. The best feature is the possibility of paying with benefit points which are given to employees by many businesses. You will find here board games, cups chocolates and other gifts.

Knihy Dobrovský is a good chain of bookstores. Good selection of mainstream books, helpful staff. I believe we should, however, support local stores with history, ties to alternative publishers etc.

An ordinary bookstore with nothing much extra other than some boardgames. Somehow it wakes me feel like it must be huge but it really isn't. The service is pleasant enough, though they won't go out of their way to help you. I was very much hoping for more, the most books in one place would still be at Luxor at Vaclavske namesti.

I'm a sucker for small(er) bookstore or chains. As a foreigner it's not like they have anything special for me, but I appreciate that the selection is smaller, all in one row, and I never have to wade through crowds. Plus, though the staff doesn't speak English, they are always super pleasant and helpful, which is different from the bigger stores in Prague.

Nice bookstore, big with a lot of choices. Employees know their stuff, they are helpful and you can ask for recommendation or help. They accept credit and debit cards as well as cash payments obviously.
