Cool little spot to stop and eat. The carnitas were amazing, and the asada burrito was great. Did was served pretty quickly, but it wasn't busy either. Guy was nice and helped us figure out what was best to order. Not that the tacos are sold in sets of 3, and not sold individually. Only thing I wish they did differently is making their own tortilla chips instead of giving the store bought ones.

First, I have to specify the waiter was very kind, nice, and helpful, and we had a very pleasant experience interacting with them. My comment does not further refer to waiters, given that they are not responsible for what they serve.However, the food experience was not that good. We ordered 2 cocktails, Volcan Paloma and Caipirinha, and they disappointed us totally. Fortunately, we managed to resend them to the kitchen, thanks to the nice waiter, because the taste was awful in both cases. Caipirinha was brought with salt on the top (like Margarita) and the taste of the drink itself was way too salty. It seemed like it was pure Tequila mixed with water and some ice cubes. Next, Volcan Paloma had the same aspect, but instead of saltiness, it was super spicy. Both cocktails were not enjoyable, and we were extremely sad that we did not manage to have a nice experience with them.Next, we ordered some Nachos, and the cheese on top looked like beaten egg yolk, and it tasted like nothing. It really did not have absolutely any taste. The nachos were served with guacamole sauce on the side. We paid in total around 450 Kč, which I believe is a bit much for the amount and the quality of the food served.Overall, the experience could definitely be improved, first by mentioning on the menu what the cocktails include, so that people are sure about what they order.Again, thanks to the nice waiter, the experience was definitely improved, but I decided to share it here, hoping that the restaurant will take care of improving the quality of the services.

Edit: Interesting to see the owner respond to this review but not others. We didn’t wait 17 mins for food. I have no reason to exaggerate.Not the owner is more concerned about the michelada, not the lack items not being available on the menu, nor the fact that I never got served my food. Yes my partner got their food after 17 mins but I waited an additional 15 mins to find out my food was not coming because they didn’t have the food in stock.So lovely for you to reply but I stand by what I said.I live in the Czech Republic so not coming with a tourist perspective. So here goes as I never leave reviews.One cook who is also the bar tender. One waitress.“Michelada” was lime and beer. Apparently here you have to ask for ojos rojos for the real thing. What? First time Ive heard of this.Also you can’t order burritos at a certain time.Why I am not sure. A little weird but okay….So I said okay let’s order tacos. But I never got them, I waited 40+ mins for my food to find out “sorry we can’t make it because we don’t have the meat”.Promptly paid and left.

Ordered through Bolt food. Food was overpriced and riding on the exotic food" train but it fell short of average at best. There are better options fairly priced and of high quality. To top it off

I never realized that Gouda and Mexican food go together, but they totally do! We had a delicious meal. Very friendly staff, too!

After a long day of walking around Prague, looking at the sights, I was wanting something different from the traditional Czech food. I'm a huge fan of Mexican food and was thrilled to find La Patrona only a short walk from our hotel. The entire staff is Mexican, including the owner. The food was amazing and the margaritas were strong. I highly recommend this place if you like Mexican food.
