Pekárna is an absolutely amazing place. I came here to get some bread and I’ve been surprised by one of the best sandwiches I’ve had so far. Everything is made by hand and with high attention to detail.The coffee that is served is also great......! I hope to come back soon!!

Obviously THE place to buy sourdough bread, but the coffee is very good as well. Many pastries to choose from. Water freely available on the table. Very nice welcome, will be back…

Excellent option for a delicious breakfast and wonderful coffee. It’s tinny and the smell of fresh bread is really nice! It’s not a super fancy place if you mind about that (definitely not my case). The lady (sorry I don’t know her name) who served us is lovely, she’s very kind and courteous. And about the bread, organic sourdough, the best I had of this type and one of the best ever. Place is so good that we decided to go back before leaving Prague (lovely city by the way!).

I have been going to this bakery for a couple of years now and have always noticed the attention to the quality of the bread, pastries, sandwiches, and coffee that is offered. In a city surrounded by cheap flavorless bread Praktika is on the other side of the spectrum with their artisanal offerings. I am no expert by any means in bread making and in fact never had sourdough before coming here. Since trying sourdough at other places I can say that Praktika has my absolute favorite. Tom (the owner and baker) pays careful attention to the quality he delivers and is a super nice guy as well. Definitely recommended.

Amazing bakery and coffee shop. Some of the best bread I have ever had. The kind of place you want to sit and have a whole loaf to yourself with butter. The commitment to quality ingredients here is evident. Organic stone ground sourdough breads. Perfection! I wish this was in London where I live. Super lovely owner too!

Loved the doughnuts here and of course, the bread! Great rye and spelt bread. The staff are very friendly and the place is very cozy. I will definitely be back. The location may not be the most convenient for some but the 6 and 11 trams are options or an easy 7 minute walk from I.P. Pavlova.

Beautiful and delicious. High-quality products. “Kobliha” tastes lovely, soft and moist, has excellent structure, and is not too sweet. You should definitely try something at Praktika!

Very delicious pastries and very welcoming staff! Filter coffee is a little too sour to my taste though.
