Nice food and service. Tried fried cheese there with tartare sauce.. Not as good as thought. Coleslaw excellent.

This place is sometimes a hit and sometimes a miss, and so is the food. Had a duck with dumplings once - it was absolutely perfect, once of the best ducks I've tried in Brno. Had a pickled hermelin the other time - it was so plain they probably just bought it in Albert 5 minutes ago and threw some oil on top... The service is so-so, you can get a cheerful quick server, as well as a grumpy slow one who would hate seeing your face. Something is definitely lacking in their management department that they need to fix asap.

Good Czech cuisine right in the city center. The lunch menu that I went for was sold out pretty quickly, so I needed to go for something different. I ended up having baked beef with rice. It was excellent! Very fine meat, juicy, but soft, so it was easy to chew.What I minded a little was sitting outside right at sidewalk for pedestrians. This is nothing uncommon in Brno, but here were pedestrians walking in between 2 rows of tables, which made me to watch my purse more carefully and I didn't feel that chilled.The staff was nice and it's possible to pay with a card.

Nice renovated restaurant only 10 minutes of walk from the city centre. I didn't have a meal but beer and the waitres were nice.However they are closing quite soon, it's better for a dinner than drinking.

Excellent friendly service, atmosphere, value and food quality. I have no idea why some people here making reviews of this place are complaining - as for staff not speaking enough English!! Oh my gosh! You're in Czech! 4 times I visited and each time excellent ....

Absurdly high prices for beer (especially for the alcohol-free Krušovice), staff not always very well organized which makes them slow-to-serve-you sometimes

Disappointing. Small portions, given the prizes. Taste not bad but the food did include half the ingrediences advertised (especially the salad worth 70 CZK was very poor). Rather slow service.
