SKI HOTEL SVOBODA NAD ÚPOU

The room was small, but tidy (which is ok, when you go there only for the night). There was clearly some reconstruction done. The breakfast were sufficient, tasty and lot of different things to choose from. The dinner, however, was not very eatable. Very salty, as they would want to cover some bad taste. Even the local cat didn’t want to eat it. It was in very communist style. The waiter (if I can call him like that), was not able to make us other coffee, than espresso (and even that was not how we ordered it). His excuse was, that he doesn’t know how to work with the coffee machine. Well, he should definitely learn that, if they are offering coffee in the bar and it’s included in the voucher they have on slevomat. Overall, it was ok, but probably will not recommend it. Hotel has a potential, but unfortunately they are not able to gain from it. If they change the service and meals, they have a good chance.

Good place for the price. Motel 6 room standard I would say.

I definitely do not recommend. The hotel does not resemble the pictures on Google or Booking. I stayed for 11 days, during which no cleaning was ever done. The hotel is old, unkempt and dirty. The floor is wooden and creaking terribly, the bathrooms are old and damaged. But the biggest problem is the cleanliness. The breakfast is poor and the food tasteless. The price is low, but it reflects the poor quality of services.

Very friendly staff. They accept credit cards with is a huge plus for the region!

Pros:- Really great and helpful staff- Food in restaurant is very tasty- Clean rooms- if you’re riding a motorcycle ask to park in the backyard- free WiFiCons:- You can park car only along the street
