Automotodrom Brno – Brno Circuit

Just visited off season, but will come back for a training. Looked to be a great track!

Best place I have ever visited! MotoGP Brno 2019! Very good organized parking and everything on and around track!

The easiest way how to reach the circuit is by car. However you can also use Brno public transport to get to the circuit.

As a race track, what you expect you will get it. But there is visible , that which buildings remaining as the original. Toilets are really retro. Very few places close by the track, so amateur photographers need long lenses or vip access. When we have been there few of the podium was completely closed, so we had only 2 spots to watch the race beside the start line podium.

This ex-Grand Prix (MotoGP) racetrack is an absolute jewel!First of all, the track is situated away from all settlements in the woods and it has NO noise limit. You can ride every racemashine you can think of on this track. This is rare nowadays.Second, it's the layout.The track itself is simply a dream to ride on. Thogh the corners are all very similar and you would think it boring, the opposite is the truth. When you ride here on a motorcycle you appreciate the rythmic flow of the circuit and the precise diameters of the corners. Makes high lean angles very easy. You can simply cencentrate on getting your technique right.What makes this circuit more exciting is the hilly nature. It is situated in hilly terain at an altitude difference of 74m! The climb between turns 12 and 13 gets to a whopping 7,5%!The challenging part is the width of the circuit. It is 15m! The track is so wide, that sometimes you catch yourself going too slow in the corners.Turn 1 and 10 are an absolute blast! High speed cornering in and so long, you really enjoy how long you keep that lean angle.The paddock is huge and you have a good restaurant and a hotel on site. The boxes are really big. They were made to be match F1 standards, though F1 newer came to be.The marshalls are really nice and cool.Is there anything to brag about?Unfortunately yes. It's the asphalt. It has been done in 2008. So in 2023 it is going to be 15 years old. The grip isn't the best. For me as a hobby rider it's not that bad. I don't feel it on the front wheel, but I've seen a lot of high siders and had a near high sider in T14. T13 and T14 are really nasty, because they have a negative banking.But I like to come back here every year. It is always like a dream.

Visited here in the offseason. For those who enjoy racing this is great! You can see riders from close by and experience the thrill depending on what place in the track you are. The day i was there riders were practicing and i was able to get close to the track!

Really nice historic race circuit in Brno. On BOSS GP race you can see couple of original Formula 1 cars and others flat race cars ;) You can go to every places in the circuit and visit paddock too. Nice atmosphere, not too much people, pure race sounds and smells ;)

Been there in 2022. Track is just outstanding! Wide and safe also it is well balanced for fast cars.
