Very local Czech stuff, 'old school' style :-). Nice hike in the summer, nice cross-country ride in the winter. Beautiful view. Wait for the sunset.

Hunza is always friendly and helpful even though he doesn't speak english. It is our ritual to ski to his tiny, incredibly adorned restaurant for a hot chocolate, or sweet tea during our local stay for the Jizerska 50 marathon aki race.

A nice spot, originally the cot for the forrest workers. Now seeling refreshment with Jizerka (the highest mountain of the range) in easy reach (1.8km)

This is a point of resort when you need to recharge during day-long skiing. They offer warm beverages, beer, small snacks including hot dogs, sausages. The inner space is spartan, small, but serves its purpose well.

Obviously, this place is staffed by different people on different days. While a month ago it was a pleasure to stop by for a quick refreshment, our experience on 11-Aug-2017 was something I have never experienced before in my whole life. The person who was there, started shouting at us that he was not going to serve us anything and that we should go away and that it was going to rain and that he was not staying with us there... All this before we could even open our mouth and say Dobry den". The owners should think twice before sending this person there ever again. It could be detrimental to their business."
