Jihočeská zoologická zahrada Hluboká nad Vltavou

Lot of animals to see, some of them very rare. Also beatufull walk through the Zoo.

Some great things come in small packages. This zoo is an absolute delight. Great for visitors who want to see a variety of animals without having to walk a lot. The zoo is located on a lake. We enjoyed the views of the bird displays from the covered piers. Friendly staff, clean exhibits, well laid out.

Zoo Hluboká is cute and small, yet well maintained place for all ages. The Zoo is clean and modern with plenty of seatings and rest areas. There are also large areas of shade covered with trees and bushes, offering cooling stay in hot summer days.Toilets are free, parking and entrance are wheelchair accessible.There are multiple refreshment bistros with basic snacks, drinks and sweets.You can also here by boat.

Great experience to visit this zoo, though you can't see some animals because the cages are too huge and they're hiding somewhere still you can find many things to enjoy inside.

Great for a whole day activity, interesting for all the family. Good restaurant is inside the zoo. Also, you can cross the lake on a boat!

A perfect ZOO where you can walk through some animal enclosures. This ZOO is similar to the Prague one by it's approach and I really enjoyed it. The visit takes 2-3 hours.

A mini zoo at best. Complete waste of money as most animals are not around for you to see. You have to view many animals through a glass which is not fun. There are no bears and tigers to be seen and it is extremely crowded with people in this mini park zoo. This should be a park and the price should be halved since there are very very few animals to admire. The lake next to the zoo looks more beautiful than the zoo itself. This zoo is not recommended for zoo lovers. Too small and boring. We finished the whole space in less than 2 hours. We took a full day in Prague zoo and half a day in Plzen zoo.

It is a small zoo but is is very lovely. There is also quite a big playground half way through the zoo and you can feed goats right by it. You can grab a cup of coffee or get some refreshments by the playground too.We love wolves and tigers (when you are in luck to see those) and bears. And watching otters to play in the water is usually the highlight for our kids.The staff has always been helpful and in a good mood.You have to pay a parking fee at a nearby parking lot.
