Wow!We stopped here for a quick and light lunch.... and a pilsner of course.We decided on a few hot appetizers rather than a full meal. You get started with some delicious rye bread. The beer comes quickly.The food... delicious. We ordered the onion soup, the sausages, and baked brie. Everything was excellent.We like to try different restaurants when we travel, and very rarely go back to one on the same trip. This will be the exception. We'll be back soon!

The place lives up to its Google reviews. We wanted somewhere offering some classic dishes and local beer. We got great beer, tasty food and we had attentive service which made the experience. Good value too

Excellent food at a good price. Good atmosphere and nice staff ☺️We had the goulash beef with bread dumplings and beef with creamy sauce with bread dumplings. They were both delicious!!Totally recommend.

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD!!!From their service to their food to the ambience!!First, the service is very fast! These guys know how to turn some tables and they do it in a manner where you don't feel rushed.I ordered the baked Brie, a Pilsner and the Svíčková (the most traditional and popular dish)! Let me just tell you... the reviews were not kidding. You could literally lick and eat the plate entirely. It is that freaking good.The Svíčková (beef in creamy sauce) was perfectly prepared and didn't feel very heavy to me, although, out of the four dumplings I only ate one. The brie came out really warm and just melted on the bread (which was the perfect pairing). Now let me just tell you.. I am not a cranberry girl but this one I surprisingly loved.Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic vibe that's in old town! You will leave so happy and full!

Really enjoyed the place! Great food, great people, very fast stuff, true Czech food! We've only been in Prague for bit more than 3 hours so it was really worth to go there. First there were no places and shortly after we left the waiter ran for us back!

The establishment feels like a mix of a traditional Chech tavern with modern rock vibe (the aesthetic feels decent). We visited twice, and can say that the food quality is consistent. Quite good value for money, as the portions are large and the quality of the food is great. The service, although rather slow the first time, it was more than fine the second one, so it could have just been a coincidence. We tried the pork knuckle and the pork schnitzel. Both were really good, but the knuckle especially was cooked perfectly and felt very flavourful. During our second visit, we tried the rabbit with creamy sauce and bread dumplings and the chicken steak (it's a chicken fillet), both were really nice as well. The staff can feel a little bit pushy or rude at times but that's probably due to how we perceive courtesy in southern Europe, which is surely different from central Europe. The staff also is able to communicate perfectly in English and the menu has multiple language translations as well. Overall, a really nice experience that we definitely recommend to someone that is looking for a good value for money semi-traditional czech food experience.

I went here by myself, and got randomly seated with a local person from Prague! A bit awkward at first, but ended up being part of a super fun dining experience as I ate delicious food while trying to communicate with someone whose primary language is Czech!On to the review.I got a baked brie cheese and a meat platter here, and everything was perfect. The dumplings that came with it were so good.Overall, everything was flavorful, juicy, and if anything, TOO much food, so the value was of course incredible.Agree with some other reviews here - just be aware it can get busy so plan on waiting for a bit if you have a group and arrive at peak hours.(It's worth it.)

My first experience tasting rabbit! staff are friendly and polite, food was good both in terms of quality and quantity. Red wine was very tasty. recommended!
