This is a great neighborhood restaurant! It feels cozy but there are multiple rooms so there's actually a good amount of space. I was only around during the cold winter months but there is a patio and they have live music from time to time.The food is excellent and very affordable. They do regular special meals that feature organic and in season ingredients. I did not expect to find Hokkaido Pumpkin Soup in Prague but it was one of the special dishes of the day and it was superb!After my first visit, I returned multiple times and became friends with the owner, staff and some of the regulars. The beer selection is quite good as well. A bonus for tourists and expats - they speak excellent English.When I make it back to Prague, Mon Ami Zizkov will be the first restaurant I visit. If you find yourself in the neighborhood, don't pass it up.

Cozy, friendly, delicious food at a very reasonable price. A little gem with good vibes in there center of zizkov. I could stay at the terrace all day!

Excellent foods, friendly and helpful services, great wine, and such a warm hospitality! We had absolutely a wonderful time. Can't expect more. Highly recommended!

The owner acted very childish and rude. Unless he learns to respect the customers, I'm never visiting again, despite the food being alright. Although I have to say the female staff was very kind and helpful, it's just the owner who doesn't know how to treat customers and the reason why I left with a bitter taste in my mouth.

Nice garden , very nice service , nice flowers , and decoration. From outside it does not show that interesting , but is much better when you enter. It was nice kebabcici but I was expecting a bit more flavor and more spices . The portion was a generous one. Will visit again and update as seems there is so much potential in this place!

My fav restaurant in Prague! Food is amazing, people are nice, it makes you feel like home! Their terrace is awesome to be around during spring - summer - autumn. Definitely give it a try! (Btw, super good pizza!)

I have been visiting Mon Ami, a Balkan restaurant in Žizkov, for the past 7 years and I can confidently say that it is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. The food is always excellent and I particularly enjoy the uštipci, pljeskavica, and ćevapčići. The pizza is also a must-try – it is rich and full of flavor. In addition to the great food, I absolutely love the espresso coffee that they make.But beyond the amazing food and drinks, what really sets Mon Ami apart is the friendly and welcoming staff. Vedran and Táňa always make sure that I feel at home and go above and beyond to ensure that my experience at the restaurant is always enjoyable.Overall, I highly recommend Mon Ami to anyone looking for delicious Balkan cuisine and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It has been a regular spot for me for the past 7 years and I have no doubt that it will continue to be for many more to come.

Came here the last time we visited Prague - and ate dinner there every night. Great food, reasonable prices and the most incredible staff. My wife and I talk of returning to Prague and coming back to this fantastic restaurant. Great memories!!

Amazing food, the bread and cheese sauce has to be one of the nicest meals I have ever had. And although beer is almost always well priced in CZ, this was well priced and lovely, the Budvar Bitter Z Obory" was a pleasant find too.*Google asked me to update
