Clarion Congress Hotel České Budějovice
This was my second time in the Czech Republic and first time in the town of České Budějovice and first time staying at this hotel. Located in a quieter area, it is walking distance to the city center.The rooms are comfortable. They offer nice solid breakfast with a few options and the staff was always very attentive.I would definitely stay again and recommend it if you are planing a trip there.

Excellent service and delicious breakfast :)Just passed on our way through Czechia and found the hotel that had a very friendly manned reception and they allowed us to get in there and have our breakfast! Kudos to the reception staff Sunday the 2nd of October 2022 08:30-09:00. You made our day!

Absolutely dreadful place to stay for the money... Dirty, tiny shower. The lift left us stuck on the first floor for 15 minutes and ended up having to take the evacuation lift as the stairs were locked. Breakfast was poor. The room was supposed to be a queen size bed, instead they pushed 2 twin beds together so my wife and I had to sleep on 2 mattress with a gap in the middle. And to top it off we had to PAY for parking in the Hotel's own car park... I've stayed at cheaper and much better hotels and penzions in Budweis, so if you don't want to ruin your stay in this beautiful city, steer clear of this dump.

I was there for 5 days for a conference and it was worth the price. Situated at a walkable distance to most parts of the city and delightful breakfast and lunch!

Air conditioning cannot turn on if you have opened the window. Nice view. Elevators are small and not enough for guests run out at the same time.
