Camp Landek Park

The facilities are really bad and the Bistro closed at 19:00

A very free and easy place with accommodating staff, who while their English wasn't excellent we're really trying.The campsite is based around a park and coal mining museum. (Worth dropping into)Toilets and showers are fine and quite spacious. The camp kitchen is, however, a little cramped and cooking for multiple people could be difficult.The camping is an open public area, so the security of valuables is a must, and we were advised to lock bicycles.I would happily go back again.

An awesome place to camp with heaps of old mining equipment to check out. They also have a tennis court, soccer field, playground, 3 pubs and a little petting zoo. Couldn't recommend more.

What a joke of a place. We arrived, stunned by the nice surroundings we checked in (it took 45 minutes). Paid a fair price for such a luxurious campground and let ourselves to enjoy the stay.What are you paying for: spot for the camper, bathroom, broken soap dispenser, electricity.What is NOT available: accessible water source, internet, washing machines, sinks for washing your dishes or small laundry, place to dump grey water, place to dump the chemical toilet.The next day I spent 30 minutes at the front desk with our IDs to check us in again, because of some mistake.There's a card operated machine (right around the corner after you enter the area with the big sign LANDEK CAMP) for drinking water+dumping the chemical toilet right next to each other. People dump their toilet for 10 czk, then rinse the cassette in the drinking water for 3 czk. Then next person comes and fills the drinking bottles for 3 czk and putting the bottles where the previous person put the toilet opening. And paying for it after they paid over 1000 czk/night. PLUS 50 czk deposit for the card you can't return in any way!But the best part. Asking at the front desk, where I can return the card.. They were shocked. What is this card? They've never seen in in their life! So calling the manager to ask about the card. Asking me where is such machine and it must belong to different owner. The feeling of retardation in the room was too high, I had to leave without saying goodbye.

Everything is free from electricity to chemical water and clean water. There is also a coal museum nearby. The place is also very public and free so there is a high security in the camsite. One the best campsites with everything being free the place and its highly protected its a 100% 5/5 stars.

the camp is surrounded by nature and is the middle of a mining muzeum. very unique and nice to see such machinery.

Terrible service, had to wait over an hour at reception and I have done online check-in prior to visit. No language except Czech and no explanation from the receptionist, she instisted to write all my personal ID again on paper form and she saw them on computer as we were speaking (in poor Czech from my side). Would not recommend the camp site at all.

Beautiful place, suitable for families, close to city center.

Excellent park with great expo of machjnes used in the mine.

Can't really be called a camp site, it's just a patch of grass in the park. No fences or privacy from park visitors, showers and toilets can't be locked. We actually had some equipment stolen from closeby our tent overnight. It was overpriced as well.
