Cafe Calma
Don’t come here for a cafe experience. The wide open floor plan makes it get pretty loud and the uncomfortable bare-bones seats all make it feel like a fast food restaurant. The coffee is served in mugs with such a tiny handle you can’t use it and the mug is too hot so you have to wait until the coffee gets cooler to even take sips. I didn’t try any food though so I can’t say if it is good as a restaurant.

Nice cafe / restaurant, brekfast and brunch menu, large seating area indoors, some on the street outside in warm months, prizes for eggs around 100kc, tea 69kc and coffees 69-99kc. Some deserts, alcoholic drinks too. Nice staff and quick order, generous portion for meal. Stylish ton chairs by the tables:)

Great service, staff speak good English, and there's an English menu as well. My pasta with salmon and spinach was good for a café, and for once the pasta was not overcooked. Coffee good but not great. Children friendly with toys, though without a play area where kids can play without bothering others.

A bit old-school but it plays in the charm of this little hidden spot. Somehow, it has a slight meditteranean vibe. The spinach/goat cheese quiche is killer, wine isn't bad. The staff is nice and unintrusive. Never had the cake but coffee is 4/5. In the summer there's a patio with a nice view of the adjacent little local square. Can only recommend for a brunch/lunch or a quiet dinner - salmon salad with a glass of red, everything for a very reasonable price.

One of the only non-smoking lunch places in the czech republic ;-)The roast beef with potatoes au gratin is always lovely. They also have daily specials but I never eat those because I'm always seduced by the roast beef - very red, and draped over the potatoes like a thin blanked. Yum.

I went there on a Sunday with a friend and they had almost nothing left on their stock. The only things I've could order were: menu of the day or the display cakes/food.The croissant was good and the cappuccino was decent. I won't recommend the place for coffee lover but it's a nice place. Prices were normal and the service was great!

I enjoyed having a breakfast in this café, the place is beautiful ! Everything was good, special thanks for the mint tea with real mint leaves it has the best taste ever ! The waiter was nice and could speak english.
