Kemp Olšovec

Interesting location for family trips. We had a tent and a car. Lots of space even during a weekend. But It was noisy as during evening with music and morning. We didn’t have a nice rest there. Showers were terrible for extra money for a few minutes and not always warm. You can eat in many places around, many restaurants.

not bad, good for one-night stay

The camp is in a decent location, close to the lake for nice views and water actvities. There was plenty of camping space when we arrived, and there are restaurants and bars on site, and convenience stores close by.The facilities were fine, plenty of showers and toilets, not super clean but not dirty. Showers cost 10kc but it was unclear how long the 10kc gives you.

One star for location & one star for the walk around the lake with it’s nearby restaurants. Campsite is huge and chaotic, no marked pitches & with far too many people & not enough facilities. Only 10 showers & about 8 toilets. Cost us 400 Czech Krc plus 10 Krc for the showers. Need a degree in engineering to figure out how to use them! Two electronic boards, one tells you which shower to use once you put your money in, the other flashes when there’s no hot water left... supposedly! No where to hang clothing or towel except a hook outside shower. No door to shower only a curtain. Road next to the campsite is open to the public so constantly traffic coming & going. Only place with a drinking water tap was located over the place for emptying toilets. Totally disgusting! No dishwashing area just a trough on the floor in the showers.

There is no person in the reception if you arrive a few minutes after 6 pm. No phone contact, and no one pick up the one from the website.

This is proper camp ground with a variety of accommodation options. The cabins" are quite simple with two beds

This camping is an unpleasant reminder of the 90s. For comparable price you get much more on other campsites across Europe. Showers are extra fee (coins) with cold water (probably regulator was broken, but machine chooses a shower for you). Electricity is extra fee. Worth to mention: the staff at reception desk charged us electricity fee (daily) for the whole stay. Next morning : there is no electricity (planned full day maintenance) so You can't cook breakfast or take a shower. I highly recommend to stay away unless you want to be repelled from camping which is beautiful experience in other campsites. For us, we decided to leave 1 day earlier not to stay any longer in this place.

Big beach area, but we didn't go swimming. Bounce mat for children for an additional fee. Showers were paid for separately. I would pay more attention to cleanliness. Good places for strollers.

Great place to spend weekend with your friends or family, there is lake where you can do all kinds of water sports and there are also bike trails available
