Very kind staff! Very good tasty beer ( i tried a lager, IPA and wheat ) and one of the best pulled pork i’ve ever eat! I highly recommend it!

found ourselves on the southern part of old town and decided to eat czech food for lunch. nice ambiance, friendly service, traditional czech food (on the middle to higher price end for what the dishes are)// confit duck thigh, sweetened beet cabbage, roasted potato gnocchi (355czk) //the duck itself was good, it was tender and not dry. i did not care much for the cabbage and potato gnocchi though: the cabbage was too sweet and the potato gnocchi was not really gnocchi, it was drier like bread almost.// main course of the day - beef cheeks in red wine with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes (189czk) //the dish tasted good but the beef portion was very small. mashed potatoes were very creamy. we thought it would be a side portion of roasted vegetables but it was just garnish.overall, dishes were presented well and the service/ambiance was nice. for the price, flavors/dish was under what i expected, but overall one of the better czech places we tried in prague.

Foods were delicious. We ordered beer tasting as well. Most of them wasn’t for us though the presentation and Kate was very kind and explained everything in detail.

Absolutely fantastic food. I had the goulash which was extremely tasty and my friend had the confît duck which they said was delicious too. There was a great selection of beers, the ones we sample were very good quality and brewed in house. Would recommend the plum pancakes too. Staff were friendly and helpful too, food menus were in English.

Pros : Great atmosphere, great place to taste all kinds of beer, nice facilities, fast service, gluten free beer option for anyone who has to suffer in that regard and can't taste the beautiful spectrum of beers that Prague has to offer.Cons : Like almost everywhere in Prague, staff, and people overall are a bit cold, and you get the feeling that you are kind of unwanted (even though we never whine, complicate anything anywhere and are kind of easy crowd to please). The food is decent, portions are quite small, even for my gf, who does not eat that much. You can order only a few dishes, and cannot order any snacks to get along with beer, like fries etc, you can get only full meal. In the end, it is a pub after all primarily, not restaurant, so it's ok.

Very cool place, the stuff is nice and the food is tasty. They recently changed owners, they said. They have great homemade beer and the lemonades are also delicious. They make you feel welcome and they leave you in peace to eat, what’s very important to me.
