Prague Craft Beer Tasting

Very nice experience. Got to join a larger group, at the very last moment. Majority was foreigners, so the whole thing was in English. The host seemed knowledgeable and experienced in what concerns beers, and we got a good idea of what was going on. Very happy to have IPAs in the selection. Finger food (cheese, sausage, bread ) was provided to accompany the beers. We got one large glass of lager, and smaller samplers for the other beers. If I remember correctly, sampled 10 beers in total.Overall, very relaxed atmosphere, charismatic guide, and it was a good time.

The beer tasting was amazing. We learned a lot about the Czech beer and beer in general. Absolutely loved the place and the staff.

This would be a 5 star but the prices are a bit high. Sure, it's in the middle of tourist Central but still, the prices are a little higher than they should be. That aside, we didn't have a single beer we didn't enjoy. Everything on tap which is rotated daily (we came back over several days) was fantastic. Czech beer is definitely as good as they say. Try the Cherry Porter (from Germany but so what), the smoke beer, yum and any thing on tap. The beer menu must have 40-50 beers to try. If you're a beer aficionado don't bother with the beer tasting; that's definitely over priced and any beer junkie who knows anything about beer won't have a problem ordering their item sampler. The food is also good. Try the pork rillette or any of the sausages.

If you have the slightest interest in beer and fancy an entertaining couple of hours sampling beers with some local nibbles you have to do this! Lovely historic location, interesting variety of Czech beers to taste and an amusing and informative talker. Highly recommended.

Really excellent experience. Great selection of beers. Beer taster was very good as the staff bring you a selection at random- however you can indicate which beer types you prefer. Lovely service. Highly recommend it!

Amazing place! Beer selection is large and everything has an informative description. Staff is friendly and music was excellent making the atmosphere very enjoyable. Overall I'd say this is a must-visit for every beer-lover visiting Prague.

Get the beer sample! The medieval dungeon also hosted a nice art gallery when we were there which was an added bonus. The beer samples were a good priced way to try out different beers and you can let the waiter know what kind of beer you like or choose 6 beers of your choice to try.

Great beer tasting slab that you can tailor if you know what you like. Nice beer garden, definitely worth a visit!

We were the only ones booked on the tasting so we were lucky enough to receive a private experience. Our guide Yirka (unsure of spelling) was really nice and very animated when it came to showing us around the underground cellar and during the presentation. We got to try 11 different bottles of beer between 2 of us. The beers were all really nice and we learnt a little bit about the beer making process. The bar snacks were also delicious and much needed when drinking so much in a short period! What I was really hoping for though was more of an explanation on the brewing process, the history of beer in Czech Republic, a little information on the micro breweries the beer we tasted came from, or a description of the notes for each beer etc like you'd expect on a wine tasting. We touched on some basic statistics on which countries drink the most beer, and looked at a few slides of the beer making process but it wasn't very in depth to walk away with any additional knowledge at the end of the tasting. Overall the experience was good and worth the fee. I would recommend.
