Super fast service, much appreciated because I was dining alone. But you should go here even when not in a hurry or when you are dining with other people. This because the food is great! Prices are very reasonable. Last but not least: this restaurant is located on a beautiful spot in a nice building on monastery grounds. Walking around in the parks or visiting the beautiful church are optional.

This restaurant is located in the courtyard of the monastery. I have not had a chance to try the food but they serve their own beer brewed here in the monastery and only because of that fact, this place is worth visiting for every lover of beer. It is good having a glass of local beer after the visiting the monastery and their great park around.

This restaurant was a great stop on the way out of Prague. It sets in a beautiful monastsry and has a brewery across the courtyard. All of the food eas AMAZING. the mushroom cream soup, the pork knee (big enough for 3 or 4 people), the ribs, the bacon dumplimgs. The staff are all welcoming and attentive. Wonderful experience.

Today I ordered pancakes. With the first bite I understood they were not fresh. They were rubbery and tasteless. I also ordered latte - it was not a latte for sure - too much espresso. I asked a waiter about how many shots of espresso are there - he answered one but it clearly was a lie - I know how latte with one shot of espresso should taste like

All the previous times I had nothing to complain. This time one of the meal was not so we'll cooked (thankfully not of my visitors) but it happens. Otherwise great beer and good food surrounding with a monastery feeling

I recently visited Klášterní šenk, and I can confidently say that I had an incredible experience. The medieval atmosphere of the tavern, situated within the stunning monastery of Břevnov, was absolutely delightful. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was simply divine.My personal favorites were the mushroom soup, tatarák, and meat. Each dish was carefully prepared and bursting with flavor. I also appreciated the fact that the portions were generous, truly allowing me to fully enjoy each dish.I highly recommend Klášterní šenk to anyone in Prague looking for an authentic medieval dining experience. It's a truly unique spot that offers delicious food, excellent service, and an overall unforgettable experience. Don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant!

Worth it to go! Small restaurant located in the courtyard of the monastery and excelent place for a wall after food. Balance bills-food is excellent, the mashroom soup in the bread is the best. Staff very friendly and homemade beers. Need reservation

Amazing food and amazing atmosphere. This monastery has been brewing beer since the late 900's. The beer is incredible and the food is reasonably priced; it's well worth the journey. It's mostly locals eating here so you don't feel like your in a tourist hot spot.

Such a great restaurant, been here twice and both times have not disappointed. Very homely food and reasonably priced. May need to book as it gets busy but worth a trip if yiu are in prague.
