ZOO a zámek Zlín-Lešná

Great place. It was worth the visit. Definitely recommend. It is a very big place with a variety of animals, great for family visits. Also, there are many places to eat.

This is the number one Zoo in Czech Republic for a good reason.They’re currently enlarging the expositions so you may come across a couple of constructions during your visit, but so far all of the finished ones have been worth it.All customer service I have encountered here have been very pleasant. I have multiple experiences of customers being rude over prices but remember that a normal employee (often than not a part timer) has no influence over prices or the way the system is set.This place gets very busy during holidays and weekends so if you can, plan your visit for a week day.They have generous opening hours and the chateau which offers a historic/cultural introduction to the region and the Zoo itself is opened on Mondays as well (which is not typical for Czech cultural sites).

It's amongst the best Zoos we visited in Europe. It's wide with a different range of animals. The sections divided by regions, Africa, Asia, etc. They have a big enough parking space given it's a highly visited zoo. Overall recommend visiting it!

Most beautiful zoo, great trip for anyone who loves animals.

Beautiful zoo that is spread apart with lots of walking involved. Lots of variety of animals. It’s great that the signs were in Czech and English. I especially enjoyed seeing the giraffes and monkeys. The area for elephants is huge so they have so much space to roam about in the wilderness. I loved the rose garden surrounding the gators. The outside of Lešná Castle was nice but I did not get a chance to go inside. It was so relaxing sitting in the Japanese zen garden with beautiful sculpture and plants.

No wonder it is the second best zoo in the Czech Republic. The Zoo management strives for constant improvement which make regular visits exiting every single time. It tries to create sensible enclosures in natural ways as much as possible for most animals. Nowadays, it's possible to enter some cages filled with freely moving animals, birds, kangaroos, stroke a ray... The park distributes animals by continents and has pockets of theme gardens. The Asian one is the most relaxing one. It's great for taking kids or just have a day out. Enough parking areas for free, refreshments on site, prices are reasonable.

Had the best time here! I was giddy like a child having to experience animals from different parts of the world. The animals and their environment are very well taken cared of. Would love to come back again!

One of the best zoo I ever visited. They have a lot of animals and playgrounds for all ages. The castle is absolutely beautiful in and out.There is plenty space to park your car for a fee of 20 czk/h.Also if you will come in May you will feel like in a botanical garden.

The Zoo is very nice. It has improved in the years I haven't been there. My 5 year old loved patting and feeding the common eagle ray" and feeding of giraffe. That was exciting experience even for an adult. Food was nice

An absolute gem. The castle is spectacular, wood panneling & ornamentation throughout the whole building. Our guide was the most friendly, knowledgable & funny guy I've ever met in a castle. He truly loved the castle which showed quite nicely while he was showing us around. The castle is around 40 Czech crowns from the ticket into the Zoo & is more than worth its price. It's child friendly, and despite a guide not being in English it was well worth every minute we spent inside. I highly recommend this wonderful gem for a change of scenery after or before walking around the Zoo!
