Good food and a nice pub for some Czech food. We went post 10pm so regular service was done and so we nibbled on some snacks. The sausages and fries with cheese were super. Personally wasn't a huge fan on the pork belly but regardless, mostly everything was good and so was the service :)

I saw this restaurant when I was researching places to eat in Prague (of which there are plenty!).Zakladna did not disappoint! Try the Tafelspitz, but be prepared, as its a huge portion and very filling.Well worth the visit!

Best place to have a few beers. Good vibe, friendly waiters, feels like a place where Prague people like to go. Yummy French fries! And we tried our first „Mlíko“ here, a foamy small beer, which tastes awesome! Thank you for the great times and see you soon.

The food taste ok, but the portion is really small.We order the chicken schnitzel and come just 2 small piece. The waiter are all friendly but for the food I think is a big concern

Very bad experience with a service and quality. I brought my friends from Switzerland and Italy to gave them first unique experience of Czech cuisine. We were served complitely different meals we have ordered, and we we were treated the way are you gonna it this". The waiter told he is working there second day

Very good restaurant. The waiters were all nice. The food is absolutely delicious and exceptional. Went for beef gulas and duck with cabbage and dumplings. Really recommend this place!

It is a big restaurant, with delicious foods, generally loud and with big traffic. The atrendance not the most fasted, but the menu is very good. I prefer more beer offer.

Good restaurant!We ordered the tartare as an appetizer and the schnitzel as the main dish.The tartare was delicious! But I found the bread that comes with it to be quite oily.The schnitzel was so tender! I loved it.You can't go wrong with this place.

Welcoming staff for a solo traveler like me. Schnitzel was perfect - crispy, tender, buttery. Nice atmosphere, less pub feel.

The experience was good up until the end. The waiter mentioned multiple times that there is no service charge. I was flustered trying to convert currency from euro to Czech koruna and he kept mentioning the fact that there is no service charge, which as someone who worked as a waiter is a big no no! I didn’t add a tip due to this fact and he became very aggressive. He went and stood off to the side and glared at me and his colleagues joined in. Very bad overall experience. Won’t be returning. Students, young people and tourists be warned
