Great location - easy walkable access to the main train station and other points of interest. The staff was friendly and easy to communicate with in English. It was super cold during my visit, but the room was nice and cozy. That said, there were some negatives as well. The room was a bit dusty, and the mini fridge was old and made very loud noises all night which made it very difficult to sleep. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable - I could feel the individual springs in the mattress. And the bread was quite stale at breakfast (though other parts of the breakfast were great and suitable for me as a vegan).

Nice thematics hotel soooo you don’t count older equipment but disco in the building until 1am. Sorry but this is not supposed to be motel!

Great location in the center, close to everything. Funny style of interior design, I liked it. Breakfast good (standard). Furniture is a bit old and could have been cleaner, but was okay. A lot of carpets, so if you have a dust allergy maybe pick someplace else.

We would stay here again on a return visit. Very good location for being central. Would be nice to have non dairy milk options for breakfast. But we bought our own at the Tesco around the corner and kept in the fridge in our room.

Cozy hotel in downtown Brno with stylish antique furniture and stained glass windows. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are a bit dark because of the stained glass windows and it can get noisy late evening because of the restaurants around the hotel in the summer when people are sitting outside. The facilities are fine but the TV and equipment in the rooms are a bit outdated. Also the rooms are not fully carpeted and they can be cold. However the location is superb, the decor is magnificent if one is into antique, kind of romantic setting. Definitely worth visiting.

Stayed here 1 night at the end of September.The hotel looks like an ancient castle on the inside (also the rooms). The bed was comfortable, the Tv pretty outdated as it could not play any movies from a USB stick.The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good but nothing really special.The best thing about this hotel is the location, as you are directly in the center, close to everything.

We loved our stay at the Royal Ricc. What a sweet hotel! Located close to all the attractions, it was much more interesting that the larger places with the boring, beige rooms. The building is from the 17th Century and even though the furnishings are more recent, we loved the décor--stained glass windows, murals on the walls, antique fireplaces, etc. The double room we had was large, clean, and very comfortable. We had a fantastic view at the buildings across the street from the front of the hotel, so the morning sunlight highlighting the Art Nouveau facades was a treat. It was also very quiet. We didn't even know there were other guests until breakfast the next morning, which was quite varied, with breads, lunch meats, scrambled eggs, meats, grilled veggies, cereals, yogurts, fruits, jams, plenty of condiments, coffee, tea, and some really delicious sweets, including the traditional Czech honey cream cake. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Hotel centrally located with charming rooms & a superb breakfast. All the staff were very friendly & helpful. Would certainly recommend it if visiting Brno.
